Staff was fine. Only things I dislike are: 1. The prices for drinks are pricey especially given the area this joint is in (not a high socioeconomic area) and the small drink sizes (not justifiable) which most people seem to agree with on here. 2. I really don’t like that it shares the place with a hair salon! Could smell the chemicals used for hair dye even though the door was open and made me nauseous. 3. Seating is super SCARCE. Yea I get the building is shared with the salon and even though there’s a small outdoor space it’s tiny. Tables are too close together so can’t even go on a date and have privacy.
Won’t be going back. There’s other roomier and intimate coffee shops.
Hopefully the owner sees the light and opens another location in the suburbs that’s way bigger! I think the owner is really into running (based on instagram page) and likes the mill creek ravine closeness hence he doesn’t want to move which is fine but this could be a legit franchise if they ADD other locations in the SUBURBS that have way more space and not shared with a hair salon. There’s lots of new retail spaces opening up in south and west Edmonton where this place could add a location easily and THRIVE! (and ravines if the owner wants to run club there too).
Also parking is terrible because it’s street parking aka parallel parking which is limited anyways and ghetto alley is behind the place. Again this is why they should open other locations in the suburbs which makes access easier with a...

Cute cafe, glad to have another coffee shop in the neighbourhood as I’m just a block away!
The latte I had was very good, service was quick and friendly. Love the graphic design and colourful cups.
I have to agree with the other reviewer that the lack of menu or pricing anywhere (online, behind counter, on counter, in bakery case) is confusing. I didn’t want to ask what all they had and how much because that seemed long and awkward.
So far what I can tell you is that they don’t have matcha lattes, they do have cafe lattes, and a medium latte (I think 16 oz) as of...
Read moreI went in for a friend to grab her a latte and a bagel. I ordered what she asked me to, but they didn’t have the same offerings that day, fair. But when I tried asking for a certain bagel and cream cheese, I couldn’t hear the cashier through the loud music. The bagel case was very hard to read the current options so they had to repeat themselves to me a few times, each time they were visibly more annoyed and short with me. I was also charged for an extra cream cheese. This was my first time at Take Care, and honestly after this interaction, I’m not rushing to come back as I left feeling stupid. With that said, the barista making our drinks was super awesome and friendly and he made the...
