Gourmet World — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

Gourmet World, Gourmet World, Gourmet World, what an experience!!! I got the reuben sandwich, as well as some macaroons and cookies. Well let me tell you, as a first time customer, I know where I will be coming back to for a great meal, deli meat, and baked goods! The location is prime, and there is even the option to try and jump the fence in front of the deli opposed to taking the nicely laid out path. I personally tried to jump the fence and failed, but the path leading to the deli proved to be a much nicer option for myself after all. Don't let yourself be fooled by the Toppers pizza next door, because anyone going there instead of Gourmet World is making the wrong decisions in life. The inside of the deli is very nicely laid out, and the options for baked goods, cakes, deli meat, and sandwiches and soups is divine! The wall colour was amazing, and the lighting was very pleasing to the naked eye. Milo was an absolute treasure, and the staff were all very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed to succeed although I was very indecisive. I will most certainly be making this a once a week stop on my local bakeries route, and recommend this place to anyone who likes a great atmosphere, friendly faces, and award winning...

So glad I stopped in here to see what it was all about. I seen cakes on Google and wondering what they may have in shop and I wasn't disappointed.

For those who are looking for a lunch place this is a deli with seating, so don't be expecting a pub or restaurant type experience.

I enjoyed a Perfectly seasoned cream of mushroom soup, perfectly developed flavour and reduced well. Absolutely delicious roasted vegetable sandwich. Both for 15 dollars.

I left full and satisfied and not without a small bakery treat for only dollars!

The grocery items are a joy to browse and well priced. Service was friendly and those that know about it seem to know!

We sent them a sketch with a description and some pictures photoshopped on top of each other to show what we were thinking, and I was concerned that it was going to be too much to ask for, but they got our wedding cake absolutely perfect. It was just what we imagined and all of our guests were impressed by how beautiful it was. We could tell there was so much care and attention to detail put into it. The cake definitely made the day even more special. It was delicious and the pricing was extremely reasonable.
