Restaurant was surprisingly good. The storefront is outdated and can be intimidating when walking in because of the hidden location, but I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls to start and they were delicious! Then I had the veggie pad Thai dish and it was great! It came with tofu for protein. The presentation of the plate was nice. My coworker ordered the wonton soup, he said it was alright. It was a large serving. The prices for the food was good! The waitress who served us was very nice! Great little place to go for a quick meal!
I would just like to mention that it is sort of like a 2 in 1 restaurant. The other side of the restaurant is a fish/seafood place. I sat on the Thai food side. There is a small restroom on the other side & I would not reccomend using it, as it is small and very out dated. The door was left wide open and while using the restroom I could hear customers talking, which was very strange to me. It is located behind an oil change place and next to an MMA gym so the location is a bit odd. Those are just my observations. But as mentioned above, the...
Read moreSo disappointed. I will not go back. I ordered the chicken satay lunch special and they pretty much have me mango rice soup (literally. Yes I took photos) on my plate. Before I got my main plate, waitress dropped my spring rolls on the floor - yes I got new ones but that was probably the only good thing about the experience. I asked about a drink on the menu and instead of being told what it was, all I got was "it's gross, don't get it". Then when I got my water, it came with flakes of paper in the cup. Like come on, guys. I'm not someone who complains about food at restaurants as I was a food service worker myself and still work customer service and know it sucks getting customers who complain but it wasn't good service at all.
There's a reason the one on Notre Dame is busy. If you want Thai food, save yourself the trip and go to the Notre Dame location. The food at this one...
Read moreTom Yum soup was good. Not too spicy, not too salty. Seasoned well. Big chunks of chicken and slices of onion in it along with some mushrooms. The bad thing about this soup was that there was big slices of ginger in it, and slices of lemongrass (you can't eat this unless you are a horse).
Spring roll was completely noodles. No vegetables in it at all. It was fried nicely, however there was no substance to it.
Chicken Pad Thai was ultra salty. So salty that it was almost unedible. There was way too much sauce in it. Serving size was sufficient for a lunch portion. The only reason I didn't send back the noodles is because I was hungry and needed to get...
