McDonald's — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

Just want to preface this review by saying I'm compelled to write it based solely on my interaction with a manager after i returned home with poorly prepared food.

The manager working on Nov. 16/2024 at 7:30 PM is an absolute GEM. I returned to the store after receiving stone cold fries and a filet-o-fish absolutely drenched in tartar sauce. Normally, I couldn't care less about reviewing a fast food joint, but this deserves acknowledgement... Not only did this manager have my meal replaced promptly, handing it to me herself, but she also approached a group of rowdy, foul-mouthed teens and reminded them that they were in a family restaurant, requesting they compose themselves. Under obvious stress and the commotion of this place, she remained professional and went above and beyond to provide customer satisfaction to the highest standard. We all get impatient when having to wait in a "fast food" lineup and that frustration is understandable, BUT this manager deserves to be acknowledged for her dedication to her role and to her team. This manager is as professional as it gets in food service and at McDonalds of all places.

Terrible experience! Will never dine there again. We waited over 20 minutes for our food. Only after multiple people had been served & left we asked about our food. They said "whoops, we messed up your order". At no time did they make an effort to inform us, or offer compensation. With COVID regulations there was no in store dining, and no outside seating available at all.. Both the Big Mac's we ordered were over filled with lettuce and slimy & slippery with too much special sauce which was dripping all over the place. My husband had ordered the Grand Big Mac - but when we compared our burgers they looked exactly the same. Our daughter ordered a McChicken burger and received a BLT McChicken instead. Only our son's order of a Filet'o'Fish was made correctly - although that is the item they messed up on in the first place and caused massive delays. To complete our "dining experience" 15 minutes later my husband was throwing up his dinner. Needless to say, we will not be stopping at the "Chumsford"...

We all know McDonald's messed up every now and then. But when then make YOU look like an idiot and while all the while it was their mess up this is the manager by the way he wasn't the one that took the order but he felt like being a real douche. Went on and explained why it was the way it was. But wasn't his order we where talking to cashiers. Ok all figured out but wait we then ask for sweet and sour sauce cause who dont like sweet and sour sauce with their fries. THEY CHARGED US 20 cents per Meanwhile we had an order of nuggets that dint require dipping sauce and HE the manager still charged us 20 cents plus tax and our order was over 40$ So McDonald's in Chelmsford you no longer exist to me and I would recommend to any one driving through, waiting 10 min theirs several in Sudbury that probly don't charge for something that is given to you with your order for free All over 2 packs of...
