McDonald's — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

SECOND REVIEW - DECEMBER 2023

Apparently I'm a sucker for punishment. Once again visited this location mainly do to convenience. When I arrived there was a homeless person hanging out in the vestiblue so I used the door closest to the bathrooms. I went into the bathroom to find another homeless person in there shooting up! I immediately left the bathroom and decided to get my food and get out of there! As i walked through the restaurant there was dirt and garbage everywhere! Tables were not wiped, garbage was overflowing, the pop center was filthy, smelly had no napkins in either dispenser...again! And was swarming with fruit flies and no one cares. I contacted the health unit to file a complaint as this always seems to be the state at this location. I ordered an adult happy meal and decided to eat in my car which was cleaner. I opened my box - no toy! Dude...isnt that the point of the happy meal?? My fries were luke warm at best and my big mac was drowning in sauce!! 😞 It was so awful I brought it back and asked them to remake it and include my toy! They did so without hesitation, but kept looking at me the entire time as though I had done something wrong. It was really awkward and unless the health unit does something I'm done with this place. PLEASE bring back standards!!!

FIRST REVIEW - NOVEMBER 2023

😔😔😔 It was awful. I stopped in around 8:30 pm last Wednesday and wanted something quick before heading home which is a 2hr drive. I went inside to place my order and asked the counter attendant if I was able to get a crispy chicken wrap that wasn't spicy. She said yes. I said ok, I'll make that a combo please and reiterated...as long as it's a crispy wrap and not spicy. She reassured me again that was correct. While waiting for my order I did notice they already had a bunch of fries packaged and waiting for drive thru orders. I proceeded to get my drink and the counter was completely filthy! Pop and condiments spilled all over and there were no medium lids or napkins in either dispensers. Meanwhile there's like 10 staff "working" there kinda wondering around and one just sitting at a table on his phone. There were several tables that had garbage and needed to be swept and wiped. They also seem to only communicate with each other and in their own language, but not with customers. Looks like it's a family owned situation. Anyway...I receive my order and leave. Moments later I reach for my fries...ice cold and hard! 😮‍💨 Gross! Like seriously? The fries are why people even go to McDonalds! I wanted to turn around and go back but had to get home so I reach for my wrap. It's not really folded, it's soggy and torn and it's a spicy grilled chicken that looks like a dirty foot! 😩 It was disgusting. Looked and tasted awful! Literally no one cares about anything anymore. It's so sad and frustrating 😞 Thanks for wasting my money McDonalds. Let's face it...my expectations are never high going here, but you literally make burgers and fries...one job 🤷‍♀️ And enough with cold hard fries. We're all sick of it. This happens often at...

This place is a joke. I get it's minimum wage and fast-food but it should be common sense to simply give the customer their food, not the mess associated with making it. I went through drive through to be handed my drink completely over filled and red juice covering the entire outside of the cup. Grabbing the cup made my hand soaked. I simply showed the lady to be handed napkins. With my arm fully extended to hand her back the drink to be cleaned or double cupped, she simply handed me napkins saying here you go. I am tired of being handed messy drinks to constantly having to buy cleaner to get these sticky messes out. So I refused the napkins and asked for it to be cleaned or double cupped, with the stack of napkins the lady proceeded to simply wipe off the side closest to her and say these words exactly "it is clean". I laughed and put the cup on the counter and demanded now that it will be double cupped. She refused for two more attempts for me to get this mess sorted, after all this attitude and clear disrespect and ignorance for the customer, I went inside to talk to the manager which just insisted on giving me a new drink and carry on. As I stated, I am tired of the constant mess in my car due to getting messy drinks so I stated to the manager that this is not drive through customers should be treated, and the manager laughed at me. She literally broke eye contact and laughed. I left after she said she can just replace the drink.

I don't know where common sense is going, but I'm freaking scared. I get it's $15 an hour, but if you can't do it then give your job to someone that...

Very disappointed with McDonald's they don't have a ramp for handicap it was fenced up they should have put a board platform in the meantime for handicaps but no service for handcaps I don't know why they didn't think of us so I am not going to go back there again I went to the casino and I ordered to pick up they ask you where I said the front nobody came out to give me my food I had to go in with my cane hardly able to walk and knowing that the government does not allow us to leave our scooter outside on attended McDonald's put my likelihood in jeopardy cuz if someone from the government that would have seen that they could have taken my scooter away from me so McDonald's do something about accommodation for handicap this is not a McDonald's that I know because McDonald's always is careful of accommodating handicap it's the first time I go to McDonald's and I am put through having to go through around the building because even the employees don't even know but they didn't have a ramp for handicap I am disgusted with the McDonald's on Notre Dame sorry but you have to think of handicap as other people as good clients just the...
