My husband and I come here for every anniversary, most birthdays, and many special occasions. The other night we stopped in for a treat for another momentous occasion- to reveal the the gender of our expected baby. I believe it was the owner who greeted us warmly, as always, and enthusiastically agreed to help us with the reveal by putting a little pink or blue ice cream in the bottom of our cones. His kindness and obvious delight in doing this made the night even more special. We took our ice cream to Riverside Park for a walk and, upon arriving at the bridge, we bit into our cones to reveal bright pink ice cream in the bottom. It's a girl! We were so excited and had such a wonderful time with it. I just wanted to say another huge thank you to this lovely man at Baskin Robbins for helping us create such a memorable evening. Really disappointed with the phone call I just had with the owner. Very rude and defensive, also raised his voice at me! I ordered an ice cream cake in person and it was missing the “cake” part for my friend’s birthday. Instead of nicely communicating with me, he was yelling and not understanding the situation at all or taking any fault. He also mentioned that there is an option online to add the cake but the cake order was made in person. There was no solution and no attempt to resolve it.
