*2020 Update * The bathrooms are open. The carousel and train are closed for 2020.

This park is a corner stone for us. They recently renovated the children's playground in 2017 and now have small "sections" based on age all in the same area. Covered areas for picnic are available but usually rented out in the summer. Plenty of grassy area available to bring a blanket and have a picnic. Walking trail down both sides of the river and further into the trees if you choose. One side has a Frisbee golf course. The other has the carousel and train. Tickets for both the carousel and train can be bought at the concession stand but it's usually cheaper to buy the season pass. The season pass gets you unlimited rides on both and costs $20 (tickets are around $2.50 each). It also makes a great gift idea for a family with small children. Concession stand sells hot dogs, slushies and ice cream in the summer. To top it off this park is one of the largest Pokémon stop locations in Guelph. Fun for the...

This park was once a must place to see. Some years the clock and front of the park is a stupendous sight to see. Other's it's what's going on here. Now the park in back by the water again has not been kept to what it once was. It's dirty somewhat has the unkept feeling with only the geese who keep the grass cut. And that goes hand in hand with the enormous amounts of poo all over the park . So sandles aren't a preferred choice of foot wear. Swimming is no longer a possibility as access to the water has been removed. Water barrier's to allow water to fill the area that once was the area to swim have partially been removed. Now you're lucky to get your ankles wet. It's a sad thing to say but it is honest and this once revealed park of many years ago is no longer and...

Riverside Park is a hidden gem located in the east end of Toronto. This park features a large open green space, a playground, a splash pad, and access to the Don River trail. The park is surrounded by trees and offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, making it a great place for a picnic or to relax on a sunny day. The playground is well-maintained and offers a variety of equipment for children of all ages. The splash pad is a popular spot for families in the summer months, providing a fun and refreshing way to beat the heat. The park also hosts events and activities throughout the year, such as movies in the park and community festivals. Overall, Riverside Park is a wonderful destination for anyone looking to enjoy nature and outdoor recreation in the heart...

Omg guys! This hidden gem is one to check out. Riverside Park skating trail, open every day until 11pm. Totally empty on a Friday night! Can I say, free date night?! 🥰 #theguelphlife #guelph #thingstodoforfun #winteractivities #wintervibes

Went here with my buddy and his kids. I can see the appeal for children. I didn't even know this place existed before coming here. The squirrels were very friendly and we got to feed a few of them. I was shocked to see so many kids and such a huge play space for them, I'm glad this place exists for the fact that kids get to have fun and meet other kids. Happy to see parents there too, and there weren't any issues like bullying or shoving, everyone behaved rather well. The staff were polite and friendly for the most part. This is a fantastic place for kids, I highly recommend it to parents out there seeking a place to get out of the house and let their kids have fun, meet new kids and parents. check it out.
