WingsUp! Guelph - Speedvale — Restaurant in Guelph

So frustrated with the management and staff at this location. My husband went today to get one of the $5 daily deals for me while I was home with our toddler so we didn't have to cart her out. Today was the 'Memphis' sandwich. It comes with a drink and fries along with the sandwich which happens to have coleslaw on it. My husband asked for the deal just not to have the coslaw on it. They tried to te'll him they couldn't do that and started spewing off a bunch of different other options/deals. The staff and manager on today both had accents. This situation quickly turned overwhelming and frustrating for my husband. He tried to insist he just wanted the deal of the day. Ended up leaving paying for a different sandwich without the combo so he got roped into purchasing that and a drink which came to more then the friggin deal. He even accidently gave them a tip with the way debit is set up being so overwhelmed and flustered. He even went back to try and correct it not even fighting the tip but they refused to help. I called in and still they refused. Well needless to say I will NOT recommend them and I will spread the word. We ordered from WingsUp for the first time yesterday. We placed our order early in the day to ensure we’d have it for a specific time. We have a 1 year old and we like to keep a good routine, so we eat dinner at 5:00. We placed our order to be delivered for 4:55pm. At around 4:00 I received a phone call from wings up explaining that they were very busy and our order was probably going to arrive at 4:40, OR I could chose for it to arrive late, at 5 or 5:05 the gentleman said. I opted for 5 or 5:05, and appreciated the phone call. Our order arrived at 4:35... :| I called and tried to explain, but was rudely cut off. When I finally managed to explain, the gentleman I spoke with offered absolutely no viable explanation or resolution for this issue. Wings up??? More like wings DOWN!!!! These wings were the size of what we imagine Pigeon wings to be.. they were so small so dry and over cooked that they were inedible. I wouldn’t feed these wings to Adolph hitler on his birthday!

After we called to complain the lady on the phone told us it was our fault for ordering non breaded pigeon wings and that’s why they were dry? And said she would only give us new fresh wings if we returned the old ones to her. Did she want to eat them !!?

We will not be ordering these pigeon wings anymore, they don’t even serve Coca Cola they only serve Pepsi at that joint! Also!!!! I didn’t even know it was legal to serve pigeons wings???

Would probably try again though when I crave wings next...
