Buns Master Bakery, Guelph — Restaurant in Guelph

I made an error and placed an order over the phone with the Bunsmaster in Guelph ON instead of the Pembroke store. Walked in to the Pembroke store to pick up my order and they couldn’t find my order (obviously) but they still eagerly put together what I needed.

Once I figured out my error (I had just clicked on the ‘Phone’ button in Google search without checking the address) I called Guelph back and explained my mistake. They said oh well, it happens, no worries! My order was for several dozen buns - but they had no issue with the mistake.

Hoping to get fresh baked buns and bread we were pleasantly surprised to see some options that are clearly marked.

The bun that looked Brioche had a vegan sign. Upon inquiring the girl perhaps not clear what vegan meant said there was eggs in the buns. We pointed Tom the sign and she said that yellow buns has no eggs. So we were confused as we would have preferred whole wheat. WW buns were not marked vegan. The girl said perhaps it has milk.

Love this bakery! Product is always fresh and delicious, the sweets selection is incredible, and the service is friendly and amazing. They have a bunch of niche products that I don't really see elsewhere like mini frozen pizza dough or cheesy pizza crust for snacking. I'm also really glad that they carry grab and go grocery products like pizza sauce, sliced pepperoni and shredded cheeses which has come in handy many times. Their original brownies are amazing...
