Staff were super friendly, polite and, I thought, accommodating. I told them it was my first time there. I ordered a sukiyaki beef bento box with tempura (liked it) and “California rolls” as well as a Kami platter (a combo that is supposed to come with 2 salmon nigiri, 4 ea salmon, veg, California rolls). since it was my first time, and the photo showed what looked like salmon nigiri, I asked for confirmation. I was told it was actually one salmon nigiri and one smoked salmon nigiri. I said that I don’t like smoked salmon in my sushi and if they were ok with a change. I believe it was the manager who said of course, you can have two salmon nigiri. Guess what I got? Not only is the smoked salmon unwanted, but it’s strong flavour was imparted on the lone salmon nigiri. Finally, I did not like the California rolls. They were sloppy with too much mayo. Tried ESP Japan and went with the Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl and a Brown Sugar Milk Tea—both were solid choices.

The ingredients were fresh, and the portion size was satisfying. The spicy tuna had a nice kick without overpowering the dish, and the toppings—like avocado and crisp veggies—added great texture. I added extra hot sauce, which balanced well with the flavors and gave it the perfect heat level. The rice was slightly soft but still complemented everything well.

Brown Sugar Milk Tea

Rich, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. The brown sugar syrup gave it a deep caramelized flavor, and the boba pearls were soft and chewy. Could’ve been a little colder, but overall, it was really good.

Hi. I just left this location with my family this evening Mon. July 24 we order 2 meals and a kids meal. One of the meals we ordered a bento box I asked for our edamame to be spicy the girl at the front said they don't do that. I said really? Cause I've been to the location in Mississauga and they have done it for me all the time with chili flakes or whichever and the last time I was here was a couple of months ago and they have done it as well. The funny part is it's clearly on your display window with the edamame + chili flakes clearly on it. Sooooo how can you say you don't do it when your promoting it?
