Best Bubble Tea in Guelph – Hands Down I’ve tried many bubble tea spots over the years, and Gotcha Bubble Tea in Guelph is by far my favourite. My last two visits completely impressed me — the tapioca pearls were incredibly fresh, with a texture and flavour that honestly tastes homemade. Easily the best tapioca I’ve ever had. I tried the Signature Thai Milk Tea and Royal Milk Tea, and both were absolutely delicious — super flavourful and smooth. Just a heads-up: if you don’t like your drinks too sweet, I’d recommend going for 50–70% sugar, as the full sweetness might be a bit much for some. The vibe in the store is also really nice — chill music, clean space, and a welcoming atmosphere. I actually tried Gotcha for the first time through Uber Eats, and it was so good that we had to go check it out in person — and it did not disappoint! Also, don’t skip the egg waffle — it’s one of the few places where it actually tastes like it’s made with real eggs. You can taste the quality and authenticity in everything they serve. Highly recommend checking them out. Gotcha truly deserves the praise

Charcoal milk tea was too thick, it felt like I was drinking sludge. Maybe it was because I asked for no ice, but that’s how I order my drinks everywhere else because the ice ends up diluting the flavour. Would not recommend this drink. Also the tapioca was too soft. It had nice brown sugar flavour, but was too overcooked for my tastes. If you’re like me and nurse my large drink for a few hours. It ends up getting even mushier as time goes by. The texture reminds me of those cheap 5 minute tapioca bags you get from the asian supermarket. iykyk. It was also way too expensive for what it is. It’s the most expensive boba I’ve ever paid for and not even close to the quality. $20 for 2 large drinks.

Very clean and spacious, a lot of different flavours and drink options. The reason I’m giving 3/5 is because a lot of ingredients used in the drinks contain sugar. I purchased the Royal Thai milk, no added sugar, expecting the sweetness to come only from the sugar boba. My drink was crazy sweet and I had to dilute it with more milk later in order to enjoy the drink. I also ordered the strawberry yogurt tea no sugar, but it was incredibly sweet too, more so than a regular strawberry yogurt would be. I can’t imagine anyone ordering these drinks with sugar considering how much they seem to already have. I would not visit again, but I’m glad I tried it once.

Horrible experience, went in today at 10:15 to get drinks and dessert, waited 15 minutes, for awful tasting drinks, my friend and i got the same drinks and one was white and one was dark? Then when given our order we said we didn't recieve our waffle we paid for and she goes "oh you want the waffle?" Like um yes i would like the waffle I paid for ??? She is making US seem dumb for asking for something we PAID for. Then she says "it's gonna be 10 minutes then, do u want it or do u want ur money back" so we said yes we will wait we don't mind then waiting for 5 minutes she says "i can't make it right now it's just me i'll give u money back" When there's no one else in the store and they don't close for another 45 minutes. Then she proceeded to hand us 5$ and walk away when that doesn't even cover the cost of the waffle completely....we will never be coming here again, horrible service, rude worker, she should be fired. Used to come all the time and the guy is normally good but she is awful. Don't...
