Newtons No Gluten - Gluten Free Bakery and Kitchen — Restaurant in Guelph

I reached out via email to order a sheet cake well in advance of the timeframe they put on their website. I was not able to order this online, and am out of the country so unable to call. I reached out via email to see if i could place and order / figure something out and was blanket shut down stating they dont take custom orders via email and hopefully i can find something in their fridge when they return....

I was hoping to chat about flavours, colours, writing on it, etc then offer see if they could send me an invoice to pay online or have someone stop into pay for it. But no level of customer service, options, solutions, etc was provided. Just blankly shut down, what an utter lack of customer service. I will be making sure i let the people in my celiac communities know about this.

Update: the response i received over email was incredibly rude and filled with attitude. They claim they will not take orders over email and only over the phone to ensure information is accurate (which leads to no proof of order info, history, conversation, etc) and excludes individuals who may not be able to call in due to being hard of hearing, a language barrier, etc. Not a very accessible friendly company...This is not my situation personally but pointing out the flaws in their process. Perhaps create a basic email template that ensures you get all the information you require? An order form? Anything would...

WOW! Dedicated gluten free facility all products made in house are dairy free as well. I'm a celiac who cant have dairy so this place is awesome!

Was extremely impressed with the selection. Bought a frozen mac n 'cheese', southwest pasta and some chicken gyoza... Just had the mac n 'cheese' for lunch, added salt and pepper as i do to all foods and YUM! If you don't feel like cooking this is the place for you!!

Edit to add: Had the south west pasta bowl today... holy flavor!!! 10/10 would recommend reheats great not mushy at all very fresh for a frozen meal!!!!

I am not a sweets person and tried the smores cookie sandwich... Very tasty, not blindingly sweet at all cookies a bit dry and crumbly but would absoloutely buy again!!

Tried the fudge and honestly it wasn't overly sweet! Very impressed.

Customer service was awesome, I will be back for...

Manufactured here is the brand Newtons No Gluten in a dedicated gluten free environment... these folks here focus on creating products for people who live with life threatening allergies.. they supply this brand to many local retail outlets. But you can get it all here.

It is also a Dedicated Nut Free zone, seafood free, dairy free, and with the exception of soy lecithin in the chocolate for one dessert.. a soy free zone. 80% of their offerings fall into the vegan food category.
