Meaning to go here for a long time. A similar place near Stone Road mall exists and we love that spot.
Black Bean and Garlic Box made with Zucchini Noodle made vegan and with tofu. We had this dish at mild level. The spice level was perfect for people who avoid spicy food. The zoodles were cooked nicely and the rest of the vegetables were good as well. The tofu too less and not much flavour. Singapore Cashew Curry with rice also made vegan. Scorching Hot flavour was selected. The jasmine rice for some reason did not get that typical aroma that you get and grains seemed too broken rather than whole grains. The vegetables were cooked nicely and cashews added a good crunch. The ghost pepper was hot, very hot, but not flavourful just heat and that’s it. Our mistake - love spicy hot dishes but with flavour not just heat.
The inside was clean and had nice decor. The bowls also come in only one size. Some items are clearly marked vegan. Some side dishes that are potentially vegan...
Read moreI think the food would be decent if they hired people that actually knew how to cook it. We ordered Pad Thai that came so dry that the noodles at bottom of the box were just all stuck together and had no sauce on them. We ordered another both and asked for medium heat and it was so spicy we could not even eat it and it went in the garbage.
I went back to get extra sauce so we could try to eat it and they put the sauce in a box and gave it to me. Naturally a noodle box doesn’t hold sauce so it leaked everywhere.
I also ordered coconut prawns and a spring roll. The coconut prawns were outstanding the best part of my experience for sure. The spring roll wasn’t even cooked and was still frozen in the middle. These guys need to get it together. They seem fazed and confused, shouting to one another in another language while I stand there with no idea...
Read moreExcellent food that tastes and feels authentic while giving you the fast casual service of a fast food restaurant. The spice levels are genuinely spicy (the employees will warn you of this when you order)! I've eaten here twice, once to go and once sit down. When dining in, they give you reusable chopsticks which speaks to their drive to be authentic (they will provide plastic forks on request). The employees have been a delight both times I've been here. They seemed cheery and helpful, offering advice such as the aforementioned warning about spice levels. The food options are all customizable in regards to protein (including tofu), heat level, and types of noodles/rice. I think the best way to describe this place would be similar to Noodles and Company in the States, but with more authentic flavors and...
