Pita Pit — Restaurant in Guelph

Decided to give this location another try after already having a bad experience- but I really wish I didn't. Last time i went in 20 minutes before closing time and the employee literally threw her broom (or mop maybe) to the ground in protest letting out a big huff of air lol. Was a bit much, considering buying and making a pita takes like 3 minutes to complete. So today I went in for a pita and tried to get a can of rootbeer with my spc card (gets u either a can of pop or bag of chips), but she was out of the cans and only had bottle. I asked if I could simply pay the difference in price then, but she refused and was not very nice about it. Cannot fathom why charging the difference in cost is a problem, but okay fine, i don't need a drink then I told her. So I pay and go and pick out my chips. And she stops me saying, "I never charged you for that!", I'm like "I have spc rememeber ... I didn't get a pop... So I'm getting chips." she said, "well I thought u said u didn't want anything. I still would have to ring it in!" I'm like "OK fine, can u do that now please?" and so she did. Was all very annoying and unnecessary. So save yourself the drama and rudeness and just go to the pergola Commons or WOODLAWN location. They are actually soo nice and efficient there, I am impressed every single time I go (and I am a very frequeny pita pit visitor). I can pretty much guarantee they will never throw a fit if u show up during their business hours, regardless if 20 min...

I came to your establishment yesterday for a healthier alternative to BK and Harvey’s…

1st… No prices on your menu at all… not clear if it was 2nd… I ordered a regular chicken with mushrooms and green peppers.. Had no idea I would be paying $17.50 for a regular wrap and a pop and a bag of chips. I felt like I was being taken advantage of. The morsel of chicken in the wrap was so insignificant that I didn’t even taste it. Packed the warp with veggies to the extreme… my last 5 bites was a salad. 3rd… your employee was eating last nights left overs that made the place smell like tandoori chicken that’s went bad.

Just wanted to give you some feedback… this will be my last time eating at your establishment.

Not a pleasant experience that’s for...

Grabbed a quick lunch today and wasn't overly pleased with the staff or how they handled the food. I asked for a 'mix of all 3 lettuce' and she could not understand what I was meaning until I specified each by name. Ripped the pita while stuffing and didn't even attempt to rolled the pita. She just folded it and placed it in the grill and then wrapped it. The staff was not rude but they were not friendly either. It seemed as though the 2 staff that were there may not have been very comfortable working. Maybe they are new, but they should not be left without someone who can guide them effectively.
