I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the service I received at this store on March 12th around 6 PM. I ordered three footlong sandwiches and requested that they be toasted. However, the experience took a concerning turn when the Sandwich Artist began cleaning whiteboards and washing her hands while still wearing gloves. After turning off the tap water, she did not change her gloves before continuing to prepare my order, despite the fact that only a few seconds remained before the toasting was complete.
I politely asked her to change her gloves, and she responded in a dismissive manner, as though my request was unreasonable. She even suggested that if I was so concerned about food safety, I shouldn’t be eating at Subway, as they use the same gloves to touch both meat and vegetables. This was a deeply unprofessional and inappropriate response, as I was simply asking for basic hygiene practices to be followed.
Moreover, when I asked for her name to address the issue properly, she refused to provide it. To make matters worse, she did not have a name tag, despite the fact that it is standard for Subway employees to wear one while working. When I pointed this out, she attempted to justify it, but her explanation was neither satisfactory nor acceptable.
In contrast, when I visited another Subway location, the staff there consistently changed gloves between touching different food items, as they should. This kind of behavior and lack of attention to food safety is simply not acceptable, and I expect a better standard of service at all Subway locations.
I trust that you will take this matter seriously and implement the necessary changes to ensure that this does not happen again. Maintaining proper hygiene is crucial to both customer safety and the reputation...
Read moreI recently placed an order for a steak and avocado wrap from this Subway location and had a deeply disappointing experience. As a vegetarian for 22 years, ensuring my food is completely meat-free is crucial for me. Since I was unable to remove the steak from the wrap through the app, I called the store twice—once to confirm the correct wrap name and once after placing my order to ensure the instructions to make it vegetarian were followed. While talking with a lady on call who were answering my call told me and blamed me that I have been calling the store since morning. Actually, I placed call twice a time once prior placing an order and after placing an order.
Moreover, the woman I spoke to on the phone was unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and condescending, despite my politeness and genuine concerns. Her tone and attitude were not only unprofessional but also felt blatantly racist. I couldn’t help but feel that my ethnicity and background played a role in how I was treated. This wasn’t just bad customer service; it was outright discrimination. My cultural values and dietary choices were disrespected, and I was made to feel as though my concerns didn’t matter because of my race.
Racism has no place in any establishment, especially in a diverse community where respect and inclusion should be the standard. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and Subway needs to take immediate action. Train your staff to treat all customers equally and respectfully, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or personal choices.
This incident has left me deeply hurt and disappointed. If you value fairness, inclusion, and respect, I strongly urge you to think twice before visiting...
Read moreAbsolutely Disgusting Hygiene & Rude Staff – Subway Needs to Fix This!
I visited this Subway location between 5:45 - 6:15 PM (March 12) and had one of the worst experiences ever. The employee handling my vegetarian sandwich showed zero regard for hygiene or basic food safety.
While my sub was in the toaster, she started cleaning the boards (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) and washing knives—without even bothering to change her gloves. After touching multiple dirty surfaces, she was ready to continue handling food like nothing happened.
When I called her out and asked her to change her gloves, she did so with an attitude, rolling her eyes and arguing instead of taking responsibility. She even had the audacity to say that they “WE TOUCH EVERYTHING WITH THE SAME GLOVES, including meat, and that changing gloves wasn’t necessary”. So, in her own words, this Subway doesn’t care about cross-contamination, dietary preferences, or basic hygiene.
This is absolutely disgusting, and the fact that Subway allows staff like this to handle food is unacceptable. Proper hygiene and customer respect should be non-negotiable, but apparently, this location doesn’t care. Subway needs to train its staff properly or replace them with people who actually understand food safety.
Do better, Subway! This is completely...
