I came here a while back when we first moved into the city and I remember the pizza being really good and the kids loving it —so disappointed in this time sorry to say, but we likely won’t be back.
We stopped in to pick up a quick pizza for the kids. Very disappointed with what we got. The pizza was soggy, not cooked all the way through, had way too much sauce so that the toppings were sliding off, and because of this there was very little cheese left on the pizza. It all fell off.
I suppose the pricing was really good, but if the pizza is in-edible, what’s the point.
In the last pic, I wiped the sauce off the pizza because my kids were saying that it didn’t taste cooked. It wasn’t. See the pic.
When I went into discuss it with the staff at the front counter, they basically told me that the uncooked part was cheese. I had to show her that I lifted off the cheese on the other slice, and wiped away the sauce, and then pulled it — the dough stretched almost 2 inches. It stretched as though it were cheese, but It was the uncooked dough. I’m sure this would’ve made my kids sick.
Even after showing them all of that they refused to accept that it was a problem, told me they would check the oven temperature I told them that they were putting too much sauce on the pizza so the pizza would not cook properly.
They told me that they have to put that much sauce because the ones in the counter that they sell by the slice will dry out if they do not have enough sauce.
Ultimately, they refunded my money, but it made me very leery about coming back. They did not seem to even wanna except that there was something wrong with the pizza. Or that the problem could’ve been caused by how they...
Read moreAt the end of the night I was happy with my fresh pizza slice. But the customer service horrible. I walked into the store at 9:15pm roughly when the store had just sold out of slices, fantastic. But, when I was assisted, I asked if they are making more slices, the server stated yes we are. Then I asked if he could make 1 veggie slice for me, he then started complaining stating, we don’t sell any slices but pepperoni only at night. I am like that’s cool, but if you going to make the pizza right now, then why not make the slices your making with the slice dough, and instead of 6 pepperoni slices, kindly make 5 and 1 veggie, he said no. That’s sad because it would had costed me more for the veggie slice, this kind of customer service is why some people shouldn’t be working in this field to bring a company down. Apart from that great pizzas Victoria pizza. I hope someone takes about this...
Read moreMoved to Guelph a couple of years ago. Hard to find a good pizza place here. Discovered Victoria's Pizza and found it to be the best in town. Have noticed lately the quality has been lacking. Well today was the lowest. Ordered for pick up. Was told 15 mins, which I thought was quick..i was 10 mins away and thought I probably would have to wait a couple of minutes. Got to the restaurant (Grange St) and it was already done and resting on top of the oven. I checked it in my car (always do) to make sure the toppings were proper. It already looked 4 hours old. There was barely any toppings on it and tried a piece when I got home; it tasted old, stale and gross. Not the quality I was use to getting. I had left over sausage in the fridge from a BBQ i put on it and had to add extra toppings from home. Don't know what happened to your pizzas but I'm done with you guys....
