My mom and I have been a couple times and had absolutely the best service, best food and all for a very reasonable price. We shared the stanley cup platter both times with ceasers to drink. So much food we had leftovers to bring home! Ceasers were only $5 on Saturdays, so yummy 😋 Finally got to bring my dad there today. Well to say we were impressed would be an understatement. The place is huge, airy, lots of room for dad to get around with his walker. The staff is AMAZING!!! Kiley was super friendly and accomodating. Chris the young bartender has the best smile and a winning attitude was so awesome. He explained all about the different beers to my Dad, chatted and told us how amazing we were! Natalie the program coordinator was uber friendly, gave us a Free dessert just for letting her take promo pics of our fish dishes that were buy one get one half price. Soo much food, so hot, fresh and delicious. See pics on my Facebook review. Natalie told us they have an amazing day planned for Superbowl Sunday. Prizes, food specials and lots of fun!!! If you are looking for a great casual place, great service with the nicest people Big Leagues in Bayers Lake is your place!!! Our new...
Read more1st visit: Same basic vibe that this place had when it was Clay West prior, or going back to the years when it was Kokomos. They built all the tables to be wooden booths with high backs, so a bit more private per table. Some TVs above the bar. Friendly staff. Lots of variety on the menu, with options to please basically anyone, including vegans. My friend and I went for lunch today (a sunny Friday in June) and both ordered the nachos & Caesar salad lunch combo. (13.99). A decent price for still a decent amount of food (a good size portion of nachos, small salad). Both were content and satisfied.
2nd visit: same table, four of us on a work lunch on a hot Friday in July. Place was maybe half full at noon. Very friendly server. My friend got the same lunch combo as last time but added taco beef. The portion looked bigger and definitely a lot for lunch. The other two tried the Montreal poutine and the Fully Loaded poutine, both enjoyed and were very full. I had the all day breakfast, which was the standard toast, eggs, bacon, frozen home fries. Not memorable but fine.
Will be back for future...
Read moreDisappointing, since we were hoping for a good new place near where we live. Our reservation for 6 people was just barely able to fit around the small table, which were hard wood seats. Most seats seem designed for four. I was looking forward to trying the craft beer, but the Stout on the menu was not available and also the IPA was not available, so skipped the beer. There were no napkins on the table, and asking the server resulted about 10 minutes later arrival of cutlery, wrapped in one napkin. Waiter, had to be flagged down, in order to place our order, for quite a while. The food took a very long time to come, after the appetizer was delivered (without utensils, or napkins). I heard a comment about the kitchen being backed up. Waiter did not follow-up regarding water or meals satisfaction. Mixed reviews on the food, most felt it was not hot, barely warm. My particular choice was great. When I scoped the place out a week ago, the reception I had at that time was excellent, by the hostess. Sadly, there is some growing pains to resolved...
