Pizza is subjective, but I’m going to tell you why I’m dropping a 5 star review and everything else you need to know. #1 Accuracy and Quickness. They don’t mess it up and it’s always on time. #2 Value. The pizza is truly a large not medium+ like some places and they don’t skimp on the cheese. Combo options are good. 2 donair sauces automatic with garlic fingers. #3 The pizza sauce. YMMV but I like it. #4 The menu is stacked and it’s also a convenience store. I’m local, so I pick up my orders and they have a nice selection of drinks, milk if I need some, chips, some candy for after the pizza etc. If I want some fish and chips or a donair added on, boom we’re done. #5 Nice people, always a pleasant interaction with the folks working. It’s a family operation. They recently renovated to focus more on the takeout side of things and it was time I give them a little shoutout. Thanks for taking care of our...
Read moreI do not normally post reviews, as I do not wish to damage a business’s reputation. This however is a major health concern, and we were dismissed when we contacted the store to report it. Last weekend my best friends daughter purchased a take out order from this establishment. There were numerous items in the order, which were perfectly fine, however the item in question was a chicken burger/sandwich. Once eaten, within a couple hours, my friend became violently ill. She spent 24 hrs in emergency for salmonella poisoning. As of today a week later, she is still vomiting. We contacted the store at the request of the hospital to warn them their chicken was bad...we were dismissed. To be clear we are not now or ever looking for money or product...we want them to take responsibility for there food handling which clearly is deficient. I strongly suggest no one order chicken products from...
Read moreVery bad pizza.
Looks processed like a box pizza with very thick dough.
Pizza tasted rotten, the ham looked like actual baked ham that was chopped up, but tastes sour as if it was expired. Dough tasted off as well.
If you still want to order from here, go in person and use their 'super deals' menu. Their online special was large pizza and med garlic fingers for $23, in store you can get upgraded garlic fingers in the deal for same price.
As for their convenience store, they really do milk the convenience pricing. They're a 10min walk from Sobeys, superstore, nofrills yet they charge huge markups most items being twice their actual price anywhere else. But that's the buisness model for convenience shops.
Check the best before dates, I thought stores can't sell expired products, but they normally have expired food products still on...
