Had a little bit of a problem with a mobile order today. I had a friend put through a mobile order that I went to pick up. I let them know the name at the speaker and they said it was fine so when I got to the window I expected the order to be there but it wasn't. Important context: I didn't have a screenshot initially of the order because I hadn't placed the order.
This wasn't so much the problem; mistakes happen. I don't really know if it was the app or the location's mistake but the person at the drive-thru window was kind in trying to figure it out. I answered all her questions, and was mostly just confused, until the blonde manager (?) came to the window. She, was not kind. She said if it was a drink or two normally they would just do it (It was two drinks) but since I didn't have the app they weren't going to.
There are kind ways to speak to people, and there are rude, eye rolling and disdainful ways to talk to people. The manager chose the latter.
I asked my friend for a screenshot and showed them that and it turns out it was not our mistake (sent to right location etc). Really didn't appreciate the treatment from the manager and the scorn but that was from one single employee. Maybe she's having a bad day.

   Read moreI would've given 0 stars if that was an option! It is my birthday today and I went to starbucks to get my free drink using my app (which has all my information on it). After ordering, they scanned my phone and said it did not show up on their screen as a reward. I showed him the phone with the information and he didnt know what to do , so he called his 'supervisor'. She kept saying she cannot override the system, and i needed to have my driver licence ID which i did not have because i was with my sister in the car, and wasn't the driver. THE DRINK WAS ALREADY MADE! so how can she override the system with my driver licence and cannot override it with the actual information from my app. I actually also offered to show her a picture of the birthday cake. Needless to say that i told them to keep the Venti drink .. Not because i dont want to pay for it , because their customer service was terrible. She didn't even blink and turned away without a compromise, rather than saying happy birthday here is you drink, try customer service to figure out why your app has a glitch.. I will never step foot in that starbucks again or anyone else that i know. What a joke! TERRIBLE service....

My bf and I went to Starbucks to get a couple things for breakfast because we didnât want to go in the grocery store during the pandemic for a couple of food items and my bfâs car broke down in the middle of the drive thru before we had the chance to pay. A man standing outside the Starbucks and a bunch of the Starbucks staff came out and helped us push the car out of the way so others could order. The man and the Starbucks workers stayed with us the entire time while we made the phone calls we needed to to make sure we were okay. The man happened to be a cab driver and made sure we had a way to get home. The Starbucks staff went in and made our order and even brought out some water for us since it was a hot day. I went back to in afterwards to pay for it and he said, itâs on us, have a great day!!! So kind of the staff to do this for us and in a time like this is meant a lot. The staff went above and beyond customer service, and the man went out of his way to help too. I wish I knew their names so I could give them credit!
