TLDR - staff are exceptionally rude, and if I could give less than 1 star, I would.
I frequently order from Starbucks online, usually at another location closer to home & work and am used to orders running longer than expected. I also review many locations and businesses on Google, and this is my first complaint.
My most recent experience will be my final one for this location. The staff are lacking in any basic level of customer service or hospitality. After I arrived at the store to pick up an order I was told would be 10-12 minutes, my 3 year old son and I came into the store to wait. At 20 minutes in, I saw several customers arrive, order and leave before my order was even initiated.
At that point, I walked up to the counter and asked who looked to be the manager and another member of staff where my order was in process. A barista named Hope curtly commented that she had just started it.
I wanted for the order at the pick up counter, and when the coffee was completed she quickly passed it to me and left. As there was a food order with my order, I asked where that was, to no acknowledgement. I had to ask 2 more times progressively louder before Hope acknowledged me at all, grabbed the food and rudely slid it to me with a rather obnoxious "have a nice day."
As I was already annoyed, I chose not to engage, grabbed the food and was leaving when she again snidely yelled to me, "have a nice day!" At that point, I commented that there was no need to be obnoxious or passive aggressive, to which another barista named Selena said "I don't know what you're talking about" in an equally rude tone.
At no point did anyone apologize to me for the wait, acknowledge my inconvenience or take ownership in their failing to meet the timelines I was given as a customer. Further, to have 2 members of staff engage me like in that manner was beyond the pale.
After my interactions with Hope & Selena today, I will not order from this location at any point, and would discourage anyone from ordering...

I don’t speak English really well. They always try to be smart on me and being racist on me because I don’t speak English. I asked them to. I have the order on on the windows. They wouldn’t let me do that always I can make a fight with them today can make me the order on the window because I don’t speak English. I can tell them the order. We always try to choose the order from the Starbucks pages on Facebook and then today I went there. They didn’t give me anything and she told me if you want you can go take it from another location. We don’t take any order from the window so how I’m gonna drinkwhy you are working here if you don’t have time to work or to serve the people so don’t work go find something to do. Go play somewhere. They always do that with me. after 10 minutes today I go back to the same location. I told them I want an order and I have to go to the windows so I show them the order. He said yes how’s that confusing? Things happen to him because of the English that’s only because I got my friend. He speak English really well and he starts speaking with him. He find himself that he’s really small and he can’t do nothing when he find somebody he can’t answer him really well that’s really bad location really bad service really bad of everything. To say painfully slow service would be an understatement! 2 months later still as slow as during start up. Then a large chuck of ice fell from the roof as I was driving up to the cash. It hit the front of my car. Everyone heard the crash inside and out. No one from inside came to look. When I asked to speak to a manager the shift supervisor showed at the window, never came out to look at the car and would not give me the managers number. So I gave her mine, which she didn't ask for!!! And asked her to get the manager to call me. She said he would on Monday. By Wednesday still no call so I called them, left a message again to have the manager call me. Now my next call will be head office. Never again will I go to this starbucks.
