I want to start off by saying no one is perfect and I understand mistakes happen. More importantly, when mistakes happen, the way they are handled makes all the difference of how a customer feels walking away. When they are miss handled, people leave looking for alternative places to go, so they never have to comeback and experience that again. I hate to be the person writing this, but I hate more that it was my experience and it was so unnecessary.
I order a gluten free Skor blizzard cake with fudge no crumbs on Tuesday over the phone, with a girl that was very pleasant and helpful. Around noon on Sunday, June 18, 2023 Fatherâs Day, I went into pick up the cake and immediately noticed the tag on the cake said no fudge. I said to the nice associate helping me it was supposed to have fudge at which point the on duty supervisor, an older women, came over and said we canât put fudge in the cake itâs a sheet insert that comes with crumbs. She told me I should have done my research or something along that line and made a few other inappropriate comments that did not help the situation. She also said this was a new thing and the store was under new management. I said the management is irrelevant, my order is wrong and it is upsetting because it cannot be fixed. I asked when they stoped putting plain fudge in cakes and her response was for 6 months now, thatâs strange because my last cake order was April 5th, 2023 and it came with fudge no crumb. I have ordered the same cake approximately 3 times a year, every year for 7 years now from this location.
Rather than simply saying Iâm sorry for the misunderstanding, the person taking the order must of misheard, instead she said âyouâre probably someone that always complainsâ. I personally hate keyboard warriors because they tend to be people trying to get something free or their way. The unfortunate part is I left the store feeling embarrassed, disgusted, and that I will never go back again. I was not looking for anything free or to be rude. I was simply disappointed that my order was wrong and that it could not be fixed. I had planned a nice treat for my husband and it was messed up.
I finally had to end the argument by saying can I just pay from my cake and go, I donât have time for this. I asked for her name and her supervisors name as I felt the whole exchange was wrong and someone above should know how their customers are being talked to. Ironically as she was insulting me and telling me I made the mistake, she discounted the cake, which I never asked for. Why would you discount something if you were in the right? I didnât need the $9 off, I needed...
Read morethis isnât something Iâve ever had to do or want to do but something needs to be said because nobody should ever be treated this way especially in a workplace and these two people are young and teens they SHOULD NOT be treated this way. A woman who was pretty short and has black hair and glasses seemed like a supervisor or a manager if so an manger that role should be completely gone as why should you have that role if you are treating staff this way especially teens. it was busy at the time they were doing the best they could that woman was asking a young teen who was blond if she could just take an order the young teen said â yeah I just need to finnish this uber orderâ the woman then rolled her eyes at her and said â ughâ she was ordering her around and a young man with braids both of them were clearly doing something as she was just walking around saying âughâ,â itâs so busyâ The two teens were trying their very best the young man was doing both kitchen side and ice cream side and the young blond teen seemed to be doing everything, taking orders, doing online orders, sending orders out and making a coffee the woman was very rude towards them both then when it wasnât busy it was just the young man and the blond teen doing the front counter and kitchen they were hopping back and forth helping each other which is true amazing team work. The woman again was ordering them both around asking to take the next person, fill stuff, wipe tables and many more. Well she decided to sit down with someone she knew and watch them HELLO you work here too and get paid to do so. 20 minutes go by and she disappeared downstairs for quite some time and decided to do something with the cash leaving them both again 1 person on each side well busy. Nobody should be treated this way especially as a teen. The young man with braids and the blond girl did not deserve any of that and they did such an amazing job they definitely know what they are doing and I hope they know it. As I was also leaving it was busy and only them two teens working well busy and she was chatting outside to the person she knew and sat down with and was smoking⌠This is so sad and disappointing to see she was so rude and needs to actually work and not be against this two teens and stop complaining for the job sheâs picked to do she should learn something from the two teens...
Read moreI ordered from here tonight and while I donât normally like to leave bad reviews, I do want to talk about the abysmal service we received. When I went to submit my feedback through the website, this specific location wasnât listed, leaving me unable to provide any feedback, hence this review.
I placed a mobile carry out order for the Crunchinâ Cookie Parfait (which was available on the menu) and a regular Peanut Buster Parfait. When my family member went in to pick it up, she was told âhere you goâ, and was only given the regular Peanut Buster Parfait and nothing else. She then had to inquire about the other once it became clear the workers werenât going to mention it. She was told âoh yeah we ran out of the blue stuff, weâve been out of it for a whileâ. Now while I believe this should be adjusted to be unavailable on the app, I understand these things can happen. My family member then had to ask if a blizzard could be made instead (let me be clear that no alternative was offered) and they tried to give a size that was $3 less than what I paid for the Crunchinâ Cookie Parfait. Not to mention that there was an app deal for getting a $1.99 peanut buster parfait when ordering a medium/large blizzard that I missed out on due to this error.
Then, after making the blizzard and handing it over, the worker said to my family member âtell her she (meaning me) would have to take care of the Crunchinâ Cookie next timeâ. I donât quite understand what that means but I am certain that it is not I who should be held accountable for this situation.
I am left very disappointed by the service at this location, and itâs actually my second bad experience here in the past year. I would not recommend...
