Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Halton Hills

I want to share a very disappointing experience I recently had at this location.

I went in to order the Texas Bean sandwich, and while another customer was present, the staff member said “we don’t have it” and continued preparing a sandwich. It was unclear if she was speaking to me or the other customer, and when I asked for clarification, my sandwich was already halfway made. At that point, I simply agreed to take what was available.

Throughout the interaction, she was very rude and dismissive when I asked about ingredients. What upset me most was noticing a clear difference in how she treated me compared to another customer — she was polite and friendly with him but unkind and ignorant with me. I could not help but feel that her behavior toward me was based on my race/colour.

This is not the standard of customer service that we expect from Mr. Sub. considering five star ratings at other locations. I did not want to create a scene, so I paid and left, but I believe this matter should be addressed. I value Mr. Sub as a brand, but this experience has left me very...

Stopped into Georgetown Market Place Mall to do some shopping and decided to grab a bite. Went to the food court and looked around. Found Mr. Sub, the original in Canada when it comes to submarine sandwiches. The sub tasted great. The bread was fresh and toppings where fresh. The customer service was #1. I was greeted with a smile! The person who made my sub took pride in his sub making. He just didn’t toss the meat on the bun. He took the time to lay it out so it looked like a piece of art. The sub always tastes better when the time is taken to fold the meat and lay it out nicely. Thanks George for making a great looking and tasting sub! Your are truly a master in your profession! These guys have been in the Georgetown mall ever since I can remember. They are not only hands down the best Mr.Sub you'll ever visit but just great people. a few weeks ago I went to the food court with my two boys and my oldest son ordered a veggie footlong. once we sat down at the table he unwrapped his sub by dumping it out of the bag and unfortunately dropping it all over the table and floor without even taking the first bite. A little embarrassed I cleaned up the mess and without hesitation the owner waved me over, he had seen what happened and offered a new sub at no charge. We were very grateful. Thanks again!
