So I’ve eaten here a total of 3 times in almost 7 years. The first 2 times, the place was newly renovated and it looked really nice. The food was good too. No complaints with the service either. I was there around early winter for my 3rd visit. What a contrast! The place looked run down and dirty. The newer seats were torn but the menu had been updated. I was actually looking forward to trying the food. Unfortunately, we ordered loaded nachos without hot peppers and we got hot peppers. We asked for fresh nachos and they just picked them out and reheated them. Nasty! So we returned them again and asked them to be taken off the bill. At this point the manager came out, guns blazing, and in front of other customers, proceeded to berate me for having the nerve to complain! He ended up yelling at us and kicked us out of the restaurant! Appalled, we left. I wrote a complaint to their head office which was resolved by them sending me, you guessed it, a $50 Shoeless Joe’s gift card! 🤣🙄 ya, not cool! Needless to say, I gave it away and WILL NEVER eat...
Read moreOur server (the blonde bartender, Hayle was the name on the bill) was absolutely terrible. We ordered calimari as an appetizer and wings as the main course. Our appetizer never came. When I mentioned it to the server she said “oh yeah it’ll come later”.....ok. My boyfriends wings were supposed to be tossed in mild, looks like the chef squirted a little sauce on them and sent them out. When I told our server the wings were not tossed, she said “WELL THEY’RE ONLY 50 CENTS EACH WHAT DO YOU EXPECT” the audacity of this chick. She then took the wings back and said they were being re cooked, she then brought the same wings out, drenched in sauce and freezing cold. This girl is obviously is miserable at her job and should probably find other work, she should be fired for speaking to regular guests like this when we were just expressing our concerns. As a bartender myself, if I ever spoke to a guest that way in my establishment I’d be let go...
Read moreVery uncomfortable atmosphere for me personally. There is a regular named Don that walked up to my table that I was sitting at by myself since opening. Sat down without even saying hello and told me I had to move because it was his table. Unfortunately Charlotte who had been serving me at the table in question didn't notice or care. But she did ask me to leave. In trying to discuss this with my server who stated that we should all be able to enjoy our visit to Shoeless Joe's, was absolutely dismissive of me expressing that this regular had made my visit very uncomfortable. Well that return visit was no more comfortable than the day I was forced from the table I was sitting at. I'm very fortunate that I have great support outside of this establishment. The regular did not get clouted by a gimp that just wanted 2 beers and something to eat. If you make sure you tell him K...
