I've been coming to this location for over 30 years. In the past 2 years, the joy and magic Tim Hortons once brought me, my family, and the town has now gone.
No longer are employees pleasant or helpful. No longer does the person behind the counter understand anything said. No longer does any employee actually care or even know about customer service.
Over the past several months my father and I have tried to get some donuts as a dessert treat for the household upwards of 4-5 times and have been greeted with no donuts at all available to buy.
We've tried a variety of different days of the week and different time slots. This location is consistently inconsistent with everything. From stock available to quality of products being served.
Having a local coffee donut shop with no donuts around dinner time (5-7PM) is quite the disappointment.
Management and staff at this location and others across the country are making it increasingly difficult to shop and support local when it becomes synonymous with pulling teeth.
After reviewing multiple reviews with the same sort of observation and seeing the managers only reply to direct you to the tim hortons' contact us page, it is very worrying and extremely unprofessional. At least respond, acknowledge, and seek to correct wrongs. This is a business model that works that the new owners don't know about yet. Please take this advice and share it with your team.

Read moreThis use to be one of two of my favorite Tim's, the other being one that was on my way to college and I went so often I walked in the girl at the counter would see me in line punch up my order and let me jump the line quickly to tap or pay.
But back to this Tim's, the coffee use to be always hot, the workers were friendly and even had conversations with the person at the window when waiting for the order to be completed. But as of the last month or so I have gotten time after time lukewarm coffee. The wrong item several times, I would order a chocolate chip muffin and have gotten Blueberry I know its an easy mistake but I am giving them some slack on it but when you ordered a Muffin then get different types of donuts and even a bag with 2 or 3 Timbits in it then its not an easy mistake. I know I should keep checking what I get but sometime its not easy cause I am in a hurry cause the line was extremely long that day or I am also grabbing stuff for someone else. But I always confirm the order at the speaker and at the window.
I have also even ordered a tea and they kept trying to give me a lemonade, I have ordered a Coffee Mocha before and got what I could only guess was a black coffee with a triple shot of espresso and at least 4+ sweetener. I could feel my teeth rotting and my heart go from 0 - 800 real fast... I will give it one thing I got a whole lot of work...
Read moreI want to share my positive experience with Amrit, a hardworking young woman at Tim Hortons in Georgetown. We usually visit this location late at night around 11 PM. Recently, we placed an online order for a chicken wrap, but when we arrived, Amrit politely informed us that wraps were unfortunately out of stock. She explained that processing a refund for online orders is a bit tricky, and she needed to contact her seniors for approval.
Despite her best efforts, no one from management answered her calls, which I think is not fair for employees working the late shift. Seniors should always respond to their staff, especially when they are facing customer issues.
Amrit stayed calm and polite the whole time, clearly doing her best to help. We decided to cooperate and choose something else from the menu. She prepared our food with care and a smile, which made the whole situation much better.
I believe customers should understand and support hardworking staff like Amrit. Also, Tim Hortons should improve their app to remove out-of-stock items in real time and make online order cancellations easier. This would prevent these situations and make things smoother for both customers and employees.
Thank you, Amrit, for your patience and great...
