Good place to try; will come again.
In order of posting: Baha fish taco, chalupas poblanos, torta Cubana, tacos arracheras and chicken fajita. Red onions and tomatoes are very fresh.
Baha fish taco was very tasty, served on a white/flour tortilla which some prefer for it's smoother texture and 'familiarity'. The tortilla holds up well to sauces (doesn't sog as easily).
Chalupas poblanos served with shredded chicken and Cotija cheese on corn tortillas. Also delicious. Some were not too fond of the corn tortillas for the texture; I didn't like how quickly it sogs. The sauce was yummy though.
Torta Cubana was massive. I didn't eat this one myself; good enough to order again though would try something else said the eater.
Tacos arracheras; least liked. Meat had no flavour and corn tortillas sogged through.
Lastly, chicken fajita. Epic searing plate. Beans were very smooth (puree), yummy guacamole.
Restaurant only opened about a week ago so they're still finding their groove. Atmosphere out back will probably be more enjoyable compared to the inside. Service is not bad. Prices are reasonable. Way more variety than other Mexican restaurants so the opportunity to try more flavours...
Read moreWe had visited on Saturday. The fajita we ordered was good but the Mexican wings had no spice level showing. We asked for a habanero sauce on the side but it came totally dipped in it and it was not like the usual mild habanero mayo we were used to. You should realize people coming are not from Mexico and are trying your cuisine for the first time. The whole experience felt like torture and that we were being punished to eat this. We have eaten lot of spicy food before but this was beyond any norm. The wings immediately caused us stomach ache that lasted all night. I didn’t appreciate not being guided and the waitress was always in a rush or not able to understand furthermore, noone came to check on us during our dine...
Read moreI visited Aroma a México for the first time and honestly, it blew me away. The moment you walk in, you can smell the fresh tortillas and grilled meat it feels like being back in Mexico.
I ordered the tacos al pastor and they were incredible juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with that little bit of pineapple on top. The horchata was amazing too, creamy and sweet, just like the ones I used to have at home.
The staff was super friendly and made sure everything was perfect. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is warm and authentic.
If you love real Mexican food, this place is a must-try. Can’t wait to go back and try the chilaquiles next...
