Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Hamilton

First time here, will not be going back. I ordered a custom cake from this location a week in advance for August 20. The order went through and I received confirmation email along with the credit card charge. When i arrive to pick it up the girl behind the counter says she cannot find it and goes through the preliminary questions of “was it for today?” “Are you sure it was this location?”…all valid questions just incase I had the wrong store. However, I show the email and I’m at the correct store on the right day…she checks the freezer again and says they didn’t have anything matching my order ready. At this point there was a line forming for this poor girl who was alone on a Saturday in the summer time (clearly poor management) and she said she has to call her manager to see what happened. Her manager says they didn’t get the order somehow…unsure how when I have all my confirmation emails and charges…I say ok and leave the store for a moment because I was getting very frustrated at the situation and the fact that a quick pick up is now about 25 minutes in and I do not have a cake or a solution from this manager of the store. I walk back in and the girl says I can have one of the pre done cakes in the freezer as a solution…this is what I was at least hoping for so that was somewhat pleasant. The cake selection was…lacking to say the least but that is fine. I choose a cake ($55 for a cookies and cream cake is insane by the way) and I somehow have to pay the $10 difference which was very annoying because I had to go through all of this and they couldn’t even comp $10 for a half an hour wasted. Very very disappointing…we wanted to try a baskin robins cake for my nephews birthday and it turned out to be a horrible experience. Definitely will not be ordering anything from this...

Overly priced, severely understaffed with line ups that take a long time. One person working does not work. This is in March, can you imagine the summer? Poor kid was so busy but still polite.

This chain is clean. The owner though has no idea about cross contamination. Why not put all the ice creams that are gluten free on one side? Soy free on another and the rest together? You have allergens listed so do a better job to protect against cross contamination.

The ice cream is good though and the cakes are very good too. The milkshakes are over priced and small. But that’s where it ends. Most likely staff doesn’t work here often because the turnover is very high. Pay people well and...
