My siblings and I visit this location quite often as it is the closest Boston Pizza location that also serves halal meat. We’ve always loved coming here to catch up and have a good time. Our last two visits have not been the greatest.
Our last visit about a month ago was a complete disaster. We placed our orders shortly upon being seated and we emphasized we have a toddler with us and would like to have her food come out first. After waiting around for an hour, we asked the waitress if our apps were on their way. She said they’ve been ready for a while and she was just waiting on the food. Not sure what the point of appetizers are if it comes out at the same time as food? All the appetizers were so cold that they weren’t even edible because the chicken was so hard.
Once our food was brought out, all the orders were incorrect and needed to be taken back to the kitchen. We had to wait another 30-45 minutes for the dishes to be remade. However, once they were brought to the table they were still incorrect with no halal chicken in sight. At this point the waitress is now getting frustrated and showing attitude towards us for no reason. Our toddler niece was getting fussy and ended up leaving with her parents without eating anything because the food was not brought out in a timely manner. The manager ended up telling us the staff in the kitchen were trainees, but why not communicate that in the beginning? The manager ended up taking care of the bill and sorted it out.
Fast toward to today’s visit - we entered the lobby and made eye contact with the same manager as last time. Upon seeing us, she went to the lady at the greeting desk and whispered something to her before we approached the desk. We were then requested to sit in the bar side because apparently the waitress on the dining side was about to finish her shift. We proceeded to sit in the bar and the waitress was very nice and brought our food out exactly as ordered.
Once we were leaving about an hour later, we passed by the dining room area and noticed it was a lot more full than when we had entered. Which means more guests were welcomed and seated there while we were involuntarily told to go to the other side where music was blaring and we had to talk so loud to be heard.
This is quite offensive as it is obvious the manager on duty had told the lady at the front not to seat us on the dining side. Very unprofessional behaviour and extremely disappointed in...

Initially greeted by a hostess and seated right away and server came within couple minutes to say hi, took our order for a hot chocolate and water without ice. Came back under 10 mins with both and took our dinner order, 2 soups, a pizza and pasta. Main course came within about 15 mins after ordering and this is about the only good parts. Food was subpar to average at best. Soup was barely warm. Pizza looked average. Shrimp Alfredo pasta was bland. 2 or 3 out of 5 if I am being generous.
This is the kicker, our server either clocked out, went to break or simply vanished into thin air. Normally I wouldn’t care but I wanted a glass of water, not once did anyone stop by to ask how the meal was going, anything else I need or anything along those lines , I would understand if the place was busy but they had less than 10 tables in the dining room…..anyhow at this point I just want to pay so my wife and I can leave. The kicker is no server came to our table so I couldn’t ask anyone. I managed to flag another server very politely if we could have the bill please. The classic “sure no problem.” Response. 10 mins of waiting he starts cleaning tables, going to other tables and asking how their food is. Another 5 mins go by and all the servers are on the other side of the dining room….at this point I really wanted to just dine and dash…..but no I walked up to the main counter and ask for the bill and I been waiting for 20 minutes already. The hostess asks me who my server was….wth does that matter just get my bill, I pointed to the table I said at told them the name of the server who took my order. The hostess Offered no apologies and just went to the back to get another server to ring me out….to that server’s credit she apologized for the wait and got me my bill right away, I paid, left a shitty tip and walked out the door.
In summary if u like waiting around for the bill and never getting any water or service then this is the place for you. Definitely 100% worse Boston pizza I have ever been to, no wonder it is empty on a...
Read moreEmbarrassingly slow service. When we arrived the place was about 3/4 full. The hostess said the kitchen was behind about 15 min and didn’t want to seat us without telling us that first. My kids and I were there to watch the Leaf game so I said it was fine. Everything was soooo slow… taking the order, fulfilling the order… no cutlery or napkins, didn’t ask to refill our waters even tho we were all done, didn’t come back to take the kids’ dessert orders (I had to get up and ask after waiting about 20 min from when we were done our entrees… asked for desserts (the I closed ice cream) and the bill… bill came 10 min later… ice cream over 10 min after that. By this time it was 9:30; we’d been there for 1.5 hours … I left a tip bc I’m giving the waitress the benefit of the doubt that it wasn’t her fault alone for the horribly slow service. I think I saw the manager (when I asked for the bill and dessert) and yet he didn’t say anything. This wasn’t just our table either; I heard a few other waitresses apologizing for not bringing this or that or for the slow service (Ie there are no clean plates to serve your food on?!?! The place was only 1/4 full at this point!). The food was just ok. Oddly peppery and in love pepper. Everything just tasted like pepper. And the fries tasted cold and stale and mushy. Weak performance BP. Won’t be back. The only reason you got 2 stars and not 1 was bc the hostess and waitresses were clearly nice, sweet, polite young women; albeit quite chatty with each other. For context, this is the first time I’ve fever posted a...
