Indulgent Valentine's Day Breakfast Delight at Donut Diner in Hamilton!"

If you're craving a hearty and satisfying breakfast that won't break the bank, look no further than Donut Diner in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Nestled off Nebo and Stone Church, this hidden gem offers an unforgettable dining experience that's perfect for starting your Valentine's Day off right.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The cozy diner atmosphere set the perfect backdrop for our romantic morning outing.

We opted for the Hungry Man breakfast, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The plate arrived piled high with crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, savory sausage, perfectly seasoned home fries, and a side of toast. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, showcasing the culinary expertise and attention to detail that Donut Diner is known for.

But what truly impressed us was the incredible value for the quantity and quality of food we received. Despite the generous portions, the prices remained incredibly reasonable, making this breakfast a true steal.

And let's not forget about the endless coffee – a caffeine lover's dream come true! The rich, aromatic brew was the perfect accompaniment to our meal, keeping us fueled and ready to tackle the day ahead.

Overall, our experience at Donut Diner was nothing short of exceptional. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot for a romantic breakfast date or simply craving a delicious and filling meal, this place has it all. We'll definitely be returning soon for another memorable...

I took out my best friend for her birthday today for breakfast. She actually lives around the corner from this place and has never tried it before so we decided to check it out today. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted so we picked a booth by the window. The hostess came over quickly and asked if we wanted something to drink and was very friendly but then the server who dealt with us was not so much... She was very stand offish and kind of cold. When I asked if they have turkey bacon or sausage as an option she just flat said no. Not "sorry honey we don't offer that" or " no unfortunately not" just a flat out no.. I don't know if she was having an off day but she wasn't friendly and wouldn't even give my best friend eye contact at all. Anyways on to the food which is why we were there. My best friend ordered almost the same thing she got 2 eggs over easy hash brown's white toast and a pancake also sausage cut butterfly style. I got 2 eggs over easy whole wheat toast hash browns and a pancake. My bestie didn't really enjoy her eggs and I didn't either but I was really hungry so I finished mine but she didn't. She also thought the sausage had a weird taste. I brought my pancake home to eat it I couldn't finish. My eggs were also a little too runny for over easy they could have been cooked a little longer. The hash browns were salty and bland. So I would say it was just OK they really should get more options for other people who don't eat pork. I can't say for sure if I will try them again or not we'll see what the future has...

Wow what a dump.

I went here today (never been in a donut diner before, I hope they're not all like this) and wanted a couple of donuts and a coffee.

It was around 3:30pm so obviously not that late to grab some fresh donuts. I was very wrong... as by then, there was a single basket of random, old looking donuts. I said "To hell with it" and grabbed two random donuts, since nothing was labelled anymore.

They honestly had a hint of cigarette smoke to them. Do the bakers smoke in the back room? Or maybe use their smoke covered hands to make them? Either way, super super nasty.

The coffee was... fine. Not sure why I would expect much else.

The inside of the place, especially near the counter, looked like it was under construction, except it wasn't. It was just decrepit and manky.

The women working the counter were friendly enough though, so nothing against them at all. It just looks like a place that was popular in the late 80's and never bothered renovating (or cleaning) since then. Definitely won't bother going here again. I'll try another donut diner though since now I'm curious if they're...

Donut Diner restaurants are a blast from Southern Ontario's past (1990s) as almost all of them have disappeared from the landscape. This is one of the last (if not THE last), that has the iconic black and white checkered floors and red booth accents and keeps the original name, and still serves donuts as well as other food items. I've been here before and I would say that the service here is usually pretty good, (sometimes a bit touch and go... Either quite attentive or quite inattentive) They have a decently sized menu for the type of restaurant, for breakfast lunch dinner or snacks. Coffee was good, donuts were good, breakfast was good. On a non-food note, I really appreciated how adamant they were about patrons not leaving their dogs in the car, I really liked that they had signage about this. (I hope it was not prompted because of a previous tragedy.) I'd come here again!
