Read moreWent there with my son and brother for dinner last night, what a terrible experience! The restaurant was a little busy but definitely not full, several empty tables, seemed to plenty of staff working. We had to wait half an hour to order to order our drinks so decided to order our dinner at the same time. Another half an hour later the waitress came back and told my son they had just run out of the chicken Parmesan he ordered and asked if he wanted something else. He was disappointed but took another look at the menu. She suggested the veal which he didn’t want. He decided to get the linguini with clams. I wasn’t happy that it took an hour for them to realize there was no chicken Parmesan and asked to speak with the manager. She came out of the kitchen and again offered my son the veal which he said he had already declined. I told her the service was poor, she apologized but it definitely didn’t sound sincere. In the meantime my brother and I both ordered burgers, he got his first, with all the toppings he said he didn’t want and had to scrape it all off. At this point I realized they gave him my order and I wasn’t happy. When they brought mine I told the waitress about the mistake and that I changed my mind and didn’t want my order, which was actually my brother’s. My son finally got his linguini and was almost finished it I noticed what appeared to be a hair in one the clam shells he had already eaten. I told him to look at it, he pulled it out and it was a long hair with a big wag of hair attached at the end that had been cooked into the clam shell. I thought I was going to be sick, it was so disgusting. We were all very upset at this point. I asked for the manager again, she came out and my son showed her what was in his food. She apologized again but again it didn’t sound sincere. She then said we wouldn’t have to pay for the meals. And then to end it all off, the waitress (who was aware of the whole situation) asked if we wanted takeout boxes for the leftovers. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Terrible experience, do yourself a favour and don’t visit this place. I would give a zero...
Read moreYesterday my mom and I had a mother daughter day and we finished it off with dinner at eastside marios one of my favorite restaurants. I haven't been to this location in a very long time so let's give it a review. When we got in there the place was empty and within 10 or 15 minutes the dining room was packed so we arrived at a good time. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive even though the dining room was getting quite busy. My mom and I pretty much ordered the same thing we tried the gigantico 3 cheese ravioli. The only difference was I didn't want the arugula. Our orders came out correct which was great! My mom had the house salad and I had the caesar with no bacon again it came out correct which was awesome. Also our server was amazing and brought us 2 loaves of the garlic loaf to start. The only negative thing I have to say is the little starter plates that are already on the table for your apps where a little dirty so we asked our server for new ones and she apologized profusely saying they're dishwasher machine isn't the best and within a couple minutes we had some fresh clean starter plates. Also if you are a CAA member East Side Mario's offers a 10% discount with your CAA card so we also saved a little money on our meal. Another bonus is that even though the dining room was pretty packed it wasn't overly loud. We were surprised about that and we were able to still hear each other at a reasonable level of volume. All in all a nice dinner for...
