HOTTIES SMASHBURGERS — Restaurant in Hamilton

If you like smashburgers, you will absolutely love HOTTIES! Perfection, as far as I'm concerned, is an understatement for the mouthwatering burgers served at this place. I happened to be in Hamilton on Friday and treated myself to The Hottie. This burger surpassed my expectations and was so delicious that two short days later, on Sunday, I drove my wife over an hour in a snowstorm to this location so that she could try these burgers herself. She ordered The Hottie and this time around, I ordered the Hottie Tottie. We also shared a poutine with cajun fries and had an ice cream cone each. All of these offerings were delicious but the classic Hottie stands out as the best item on their menu. The sliced cheese, grilled onions, and hottie sauce take it to another level.

The menu is concise, timeless, and classic. The atmosphere is cool, hip, and fun. The kitchen and front counter area are clean and impressive. Their black and pink branding is on point. The crew that works at HOTTIES is awesome. I want to give a special shout out to Warren, who made my visit on Friday memorable. Their funky washroom features a black toilet and black tiles with pink grout. Their prices aren't the lowest that you'll find but the quality makes them justifiable. Spending $12 or $14 on their smashburgers is worthwhile once you've tasted them. I would like to see HOTTIES offer shredded lettuce on their burgers and a chicken sandwich would be a fun addition to their menu. More comfortable dine-in seating options would also be nice. I've had this spot on my radar for a little while and finally got the chance to try it today. I ordered The Hottie and the cheese fries. The cheese sauce was pretty good I have had better but it was generously poured over the fries. The only thing was the fries got soggy very quickly but the sauce was good and hot and a generous amount so it was still tasty. The burger was nice and messy just how I like it and very good! My only suggestion is I would provide a toasted bun as an option. That will help prevent the bun from getting soggy too quickly. It was $22.60 with tax for what I ordered. I wouldn't want to order this for delivery as your items will show up soggy but if you do order in store and eat it there it is a very delicious place to eat.
