I honestly have too many good things to say about this place. Even as i'm mid-post of writing this, Lisa brings a glass of water right to me at my table! Just above and beyond. But truly, one of the best coffee shops in Hamilton. There is such a community vibe here, pre-pandemic I would sit at the bar with a crossword and call out clues to others in the shop and they'd holler answers back. (That might sound annoying but it was fun). The staff know their customers by name, and show care as if they did when they don't. This shop cared about being an anti-oppressive space before it was trendy. The food is unreal and the coffee, top notch. They support local artists with a rotating gallery display and will have you chuckling daily with their front-sign wit....

I come here often! I work nearby and am a regular.

I made the mistake of visiting ten minutes before close a week or two ago. My drink cost $8 and I left a tip. The bariata was very short with me, which is fine, y'all don't gotta kiss my butt. However - they bloomed my matcha in a disposable paper cup to save a dish. Part of the draw of visiting here and paying the premium price is having the barista put care into your drink - matcha lattes are just green tea powder and milk. This visit was very disappointing - it cost me $10 - it left me feeling guilty for visiting during business hours, and the latte tasted like paper.

I've begun getting my matcha fix at Mulberry, where the drinks are $2 cheaper and they're made properly each time with care...

Cozy vibes. Amazing coffee and espresso drinks. Friendly and welcoming staff. The food is delicious and fresh, as are the baked goods! I always have a double espresso and it never fails to hit the spot. I've tried the avocado toast which is to die for. Their other toast options rotate and are creative and delicious without a doubt. Cannot recommend this place more. The small nooks at the windows beside the entrance have toys for your little one to keep busy with while you enjoy your coffee. Keep in mind this is a small place, so finding a seat may be challenging at some times more than others, but a nice big community table offers a space for solo folks to sit. Excuse my huge rant, but this place has turned into my...

Stumbled across this cute, quiet, and quality coffee shop while looking for the closest local coffee shop.. I’ve now gone at least once a week since I moved to the area 👀 coffee is good but I have to say the scones are the winners! I’ve tried many scones at coffee shops and they always have the fluffy cake consistency, not flavourful, and not fresh and flaky. These are divine and you can’t go wrong with the blueberry Nutella or their sweet potato and herb. Sometimes I just go there for the scones and the coffee is the side order. Service is very pleasant! Highly recommend if you are in the area :)

This has been on my list for a while, and I finally had the chance to come in. We got a cappichino, berry scone, coffee and maple/bacon butter tart. Everything was amazing and exceeded all expectations. We joked that the cappichino was like a warm hug and they coincidentally have a "belly hug Latte" on the menu. I was told to come for the chocolate chip cookies, but the bacon filled buttertart looked too good to pass on. They sell a wide array of coffee beans. My only suggestion would be to allow pour overs of their in-house beans.

Jesslyn and her staff run a great coffee shop that has become a community hub in the neighbourhood. Their freshly made food is excellent, and the coffee is superb. I buy a bag or two a week of their beans for home. Whether you stop for a cup of joe, some munchies, or to take home the roasted heaven of their beans, you won't be disappointed.
