Tonight was our first time trying Lee’s Chinese. It’s been a challenge to find good Chinese food in the city since nellies and Kim shans closed. However, if you liked those places, you’ll love this place! Everything was hot and fresh, not greasy at all, even the fried items. Even though it’s Christmas Day, I was able to call, place an order and pick it up within an hour! So far we have tried their pork friend rice - tender meat, nice smoky savory taste. Beef and broccoli - tender beef and fresh al dente broccoli, onions and carrots. Mushroom egg foo young, hands down the best I have tasted yet! Their egg rolls are up there with some of the best, ours were cold so I don’t feel like I got the full experience, but next time 🤞🏻!! Sweet and sour chicken balls were crunchy and delicious, sauce has a nice tang to it. Overall I would recommend this Chinese restaurant! I would have given 4.5 if I could, lost half a point for the cold egg rolls, but honestly I was looking for things that were wrong and...

We just moved back in this hood, 08/17/2023 area, when we lived in Dundas, ON about 10 years ago, we ordered from this restaurant frequently when we felt like Chinese Food. We since moved far away, so we had chosen or found other establishments. On this day, I wasn’t overly hungry 08/20/23 they close at 10:00 P.M. on Sundays. I placed just a small order of (2) egg rolls and (1) Won Ton soup for pickup. I ordered about 9:25 P.M. and picked my order up at 9:45 P.M. Took my food home, the egg rolls were excellent, good size with plenty of filling inside them (thick and crunchy). The Won Ton soup came in a styrofoam bowl and plastic lid. The broth was steaming hot, broth was excellent, not too salty. Had many ingredients, like huge won ton noodles (with meat inside, very flavourful), mushrooms, spinach leaves, shreds of BBQ pork all in all a very enjoyable “snack”. I actually rated it 3 5 stars, google wont let me give it the extra half star!. Small older family restaurant in the old down town. Ordered by phone. Food was pretty good. Customer service was what kept me from giving ot a 4 out of 5. All in all i was happy. The service was decent. There was a small mix up with the orders... so i had to wait an additional 25 mins from the time i was told to be there. My food was given to someone else.... i understand things happen .thats life. However.... maybe a bit more care from the service end would have been nice. Everyone values they're time....which is part of the reason i ordered out.. Maybe i am a bit fussy since i am a professional Chef working in the industry on all sides ... so i expect what should be expected. Take all that for what its worth... All in all the...
