I can't give it no stars and it's what it deserves. Too many staff standing around doing nothing of value to help expedite in store customers transactions. This store over the last 3-4 years has seen it's service level plummet to a I don't give a "°•t level. It must be blamed squarely on upper management and the franchisee to allow such sub par service to fester at this location. The time it takes to get an order completed from payment to getting a simple order yet drive thru orders exactly the same items are completed in a much shorter time frame.
Today I ordered a simple Big Mac combo large fries med coke zero.
5 minutes to have my order called out. The fries were stale hard and cold m. Not once but twice. No napkins in the bag no condiments offered and a general lack of could care less why are you bothering me. I counted 6 employees around the till offering zero help. Not even acknowledging our presence there. A shout out to other staff members to check in on us if they were clocking in would have been at minimum decent customer service.
20 years in the hospitality/ travel industry with a focus on customer service and F&B I'd fire every single one of the staff at this location. Then make the managers at every level cover the shifts. Only then could I do a really assessment of what needs done. Sack supervisors and replace them with the good front line employees. Honestly 4 years of dismal service is enough. It can't be every employee who is a slacker. It's the culture from the top.
Time to have good think people
Upper James and Rymal is best avoided if your in a rush.
Oh and as an aside 3 female employees were sitting at the long table having a very public conversation where F Bombs are dropped frequently.
I've no problem with employees eating out front. Might be done work but not obvious in uniform should that happen if they are gonna drop F Bombs.
I've fired people on the spot fir that kind of talk and behaviour. No discussion no written or verbals. There shouldn't need to be. It's just...

Read moreI have to say this location really disappointed from the whole McDonald's experience. First of all, most of the self-serve kiosk were in serious need of maintenance (missing paper for receipts) and repairs (a lot of broken parts). While waiting for my food, a lot of people that were waiting outside in the drive through were coming in to complain as they were waiting 20 minutes+ for their foods while others were getting their food quickly. Some people inside saw their orders dissappear from the screen, without their orders being called out. When I finally got my food, the employee checked my order and said it was good. When I got to our table we had realized we were missing a few items (ex: nuggets for a happy meal) and some were wrong (we had ordered toys for the happy meal and received books). We went to go speak to an employee who told us they were out of toys (this should have been said when ordering) and acknowledged the missing nuggets and went to get them. 5 minutes later we had to speak to a manager to get the nuggets because the employee didn't bring them. Once we were done, we were not able to throw out our garbage as the garbages had not been emptied that day, they were literally overflowing, and some other guests had started stacking their garbage on a near-by table. Definitely not the experience we expect from this establishment. Note that the kids play park was surprisingly clean compared to the rest of...
