Placed a simple enough order at the drive through ... a Big Mac without any lettuce. When I opened the box it appeared as though nothing at all was on the burger. I peeled back.the top bun ... Just a beef Patty and a quarter-sized (no kidding) blob of "special Sauce". Same with the second layer. I then park the car and went in and made my way through a very crowded line of customers picking up their completed orders to find a person behind the counter to whom I could explain that I thought my Big Mac was missing more than just lettuce. The lady behind the counter was very nice and seemed to agree with my observation and took the burger and passed it to someone in the back who I could not see other than their arm. This individual opened up the box peeled back layer one, then layer two, slammed the box lid shut and literally threw it back on the conveyor slide and announce that there was nothing wrong with the burger. I was truly Blown Away by such a rude response and the fact that my brother had now been handled by two people who were not wearing anything on their hands while they are poking at my burger. The nice lady who had been trying to address my concerns looked a little sheepish. She asked me what I would like to do and I said that at the very least I would appreciate having a replacement Burger given that it had now been deconstructed and reconstructed twice by people who weren't wearing anything on their hands (I.e., gloves)! She agreed that that was more than reasonable and did replace my burger though understandably I was back in a line with many other people who are waiting for their order. While I think most of the customer service staff are doing the best they can I think they have some major attitudes in the back. Perhaps the fact that this is a 24-hour location and obviously a very popular one at that puts a lot of additional stress on the people who are trying to crank out the orders. I also think that they're skimping on the condiments and there were two other people in line with me who were there to complain about orders that were not correct. When I finally got my replacement Big Mac it was decent except for the fact that it was at best, lukewarm. It should have been hot enough to at least melt the cheese. No such luck. I...
Read moreHello everyone I’d like to just start off by saying that I enter the store on October 15, 2021 at around 8:05 PM. As somebody with diabetes I proceeded to place an order at the kiosk but as I was placing it I was approached by store manager Derek who yelled at me and advised me that I needed a medical mask in order to be in the store. I then informed Derek nicely that I cannot wear a mask due to medical reasons and even asked if you would like to see some proof as I do have doctor notes. in front of everyone Derek stated I do not care what do you have you do not have a right to be here and then advised me that I am to be trespassed from the property. i’ve been coming to this McDonald’s my whole life and I completely believe that COVID-19 and wearing masks help and mitigate the risk of spreading this virus but the way I was humiliated in front of others including my own family was just so horrible I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back here ever again as I am personally traumatized from how this individual treated me. I am not an anti-mask her or anti-vaxer I am just someone who simply cannot wear the facial mask due to personal medical reasons. The fact of the matter is I was treated as an anti-VAX or or anti-masker and it was just utterly humiliating because I shop constantly throughout the greater Toronto area and never have been treated like this as people are understanding of the rules of the mask mandate here in our province. I really do believe that the store owner or McDonald’s management should really have a conversation with Derek as he should really be informed of the rules in the area if individuals advise others that they have a medical condition and they are not to wear masks because of it they are exempt per the mask mandate. that is the rule here in the Hamilton area. I am disappointed I am sad and also humiliated that another human being in front of all his other staff and customers treated me like a piece of garbage. everybody stared at me I was some crazy person I’m not a crazy person and I was just a customer. i’m very disappointed in you McDonald’s, especially since I really do enjoy your food this really ruined my day, Thank you store...
Read moreHi. This isnt my first time buying from this location. The past experiences were okay, normal. But, i had by far! The worst experience of any McDonald’s today. January 27, at exactly 1:34am. I asked specifically for a 10 piece chicken nugget, one medium fry, and a large fry. As i pull up to pay, as i took the drive through I check the bag and there was only one medium fry which wasnt that bad as, it happens before. They gave me a large fry and i went on with my night. As im driving away from the location, I notice that my nuggets was a MCCHICKEN. Not what I ordered. I tried to push that aside to clear my mind by having some fries. Little did I know that would make my head scatter with overwhelming thoughts.
As im eating, i notice in the dark a black line. “What was that” thought to myself as i ate half of my fries in the DARK. I turn on the flashlight on my phone only to discover a PUBE.my brother also had those fries. Keep in mind, mine was a medium and his was a LARGE. I notify my family about the disgusting find that slipped in my what is supposed be happy meal. I could tell by the look in my brothers face, he didnt enjoy his fries after i revealed what has happened. Just before i could process everything, out comes the puke. What a waste! Im disgusted. Dont go to this location, it is a mistake and you will only find a pube in your food. Thank god the shake machine was...
