At our visit, we ordered Arabian coffee, a freshly squeezed orange juice, a cheese and spinach patty, and a classic croissant. The Arabian coffee was the highlight of the experience—a beautifully brewed cup with just the right balance of strength and warmth. Its aroma was wonderfully authentic, capturing the essence of traditional Arabian coffee, which paired perfectly with the crisp fall air.
The orange juice was equally impressive. Made from fresh oranges, its vibrant, natural sweetness felt like a rare treat, especially when so many places lean toward pre-packaged options. This simple freshness added a delightful, refreshing note to the morning.
While the cheese and spinach patty and the croissant were well-prepared, they didn’t stand out from similar items offered at other cafes. They provided a satisfactory accompaniment to the drinks but lacked any unique qualities worth mentioning.
Set in the Westdale area, this cafe has a special charm, drawing a crowd that appreciates its cultural flair and the comfortable ambiance it offers. It’s a great spot to sit, sip your coffee, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I visited during the fall season, and the view was truly breathtaking; the vibrant colors of the autumn leaves added a warm, inviting backdrop that made the experience even more enjoyable.
However, the service felt a bit detached, almost transactional. It seemed like the staff’s approach was more “here’s your coffee, and my job is done,” which lacked the personal touch that could have enhanced the experience.
Overall, if you’re in the area, this cafe is a charming spot to unwind and take in the beauty of Westdale. It’s a relaxed, inviting space where you can enjoy a quality cup of coffee amidst the...
Read morei came here with 2 of my friends and one of them didn’t order. they kept staring at us and whispering to each other while staring at us. they made the cafe a very uncomfortable and intimidating environment to be in. they then approached my friend and said they’d have to kick us out if she didn’t order. but my other friend and i collectively spent over $25 on food and drinks here so why did my other friend have to buy something else too? this place is actually horrible and i will never come back here again. the food was so mediocre for the price point. save ur coin and time and go to the other cafes in westdale that have better coffee and. service. truly such a horrible experience. can’t believe we had to go through this for some bad coffee too. flop
EDIT: If this is their policy then there is no problem. My issue is with the fact that they treated us horribly. They kept whispering and staring us down while trying to call us out in front of the entire cafe and embarrassing us. AFTER that they came up to us and were rude about the whole thing. If we were notified nicely, we wouldn't...
Read moreI’ve went to this place a lot last year quite a lot. I have to say, the coffee and service is absolutely impeccable. I’d often be working, or doing art while exploring their menu. The barista’s were incredibly helpful explaining the drinks. Cold Mikeloccino is usually my go-to.
The service is absolutely great. Seldom will you find a staff in other cafes that brings food to your table. This one time, they were out of the Philly cheese steak, and they ordered a smash burger for me from nearby!
The atmosphere is relaxing, the seats are awesome. Everything is 10/10.
MUCH better than Starbucks. Honestly their coffee in general is unmatched in Hamilton as far as my taste goes.
When I’d go there I’d usually spend like $300 a month there and it’s worth it.
These days I’m in my home office after renovating it so I haven’t been there in a while, but I’ll gladly go back and do some art on my iPad while sipping on a refreshing Mikellocino on a nice sunny Sunday given the chance.
I...
