Absolutely lovely park only a few mins walk from King and Longwood bus stop. Playground for children, feels very safe next to elementary school. Massive fields for sports, running dogs, and gravel paths on both forested and suburb side. Benches all along the field paths but a respectable distance from other passerby. Wonderful big oak trees on the edges of the fields for birdwatching. Easy access to Cootes Paradise trails (Ravine Road and Princess Point) which are so lovely and quiet. Princess Point trail has several lookouts over Lake Ontario. Only about a 20min walk through the forest to McMaster with offshoots into Westdale suburbs.
