The Pho is great, my wife loves the Pad Thai.. It's right downtown so parking can be an issue,, turn down the closes road and find parking... Unfortunately we haven't been back in a long time,, it was our favorite Pho spot... My wife and two children where there eating one day,, the kids at the time where about 2 and 5, there was another table with s few people, not a full house by any means.. My wife and i are respectful,, if our kids are being noisy we deal with it. No one wants to hear crying baby's,,,, BUT people need to remember, at some point we all where baby's!,,, well our kids were being a little antsy, not running up and down iles or anything , just making a little noise,, which we would do our best to get our kids to quiet down,, you obviously can't tell a kid to shut up!!! So anyways, at one point in between my wife and I making sure our kids where quiet ,, my son makes some noise again as children do,,, AND THE SON OF THE OWNER I ASSUME,, SHUSH'S OUR KID!!! NOPE!!! Like I said, we were dealing with it, but kids will be kids,, they need to LIVE TO LEARN.... It's ok , they are pretty good in restaurants now.. I would give full stars if it weren't for the attitude we received from the little guy,, THE...
Read moreWas there yesterday, wrote 'seafood #' on my order, as the listing in the menu was unclear and I wanted to make sure I got what I asked for. They brought me a chicken soup and were pressuring me to accept it since it matched the number (but not the word).
I apologized for the confusion and pointed out that I did say seafood. They grumbled but came back shortly with a 'new' bowl with seafood in it. As I was eating, I found chicken in the bowl... While the taste is good, I'm kind of scared that they're cutting corners at the customer's expense. There are plenty of better places to go for your pho...
Read moreSituated in Hamilton's Westdale Village is this great Vietnamese restaurant. Staff almost immediately direct you to your table and quickly present you with menus and order slip. A separate appetizer menu features tempting small dishes to add or share. Fill in the order slip and within a short 15-20 minutes your food arrives. I ordered the snow peas and chicken with jasmine rice, delicious with the right amount of seasoning and fresh from the wok. Vietnamese coffees, smoothies and drinks available. The restaurant's interior could use a refresh but everything was clean, my plate had a chip in it, but I'm here for the food and one can opt for take away or delivery. Priced right too $$. The restaurant was busy for Saturday lunch and many university students and Asians were present which is testament to the food quality and authenticity. Next time I'm in Hamilton I hope to have enough time to stop by again. Limited free parking adjacent to restaurant and on-street pay parking...
