One of the only few Persian places In Hamilton. It's a little bit on the mid price range. Main courses are over $20 dollars. Which is high in this economy. The portions are pretty decent though. It was interesting and it was good/satisfactory. Nothing really blew my mind. But It was good food. I will say this. I feel with Persian food, places like this might not know how to market Persian food well. Because certain Persian dishes would go with a whole bunch of small dishes. For example, fasenjoon, it's too rich on its own, when you just give a giant plate of rice + fasenjoon It feels like you would need to get it with a whole bunch of other dishes maybe?. This is just my opinion when it comes to Persian food in Canada. The Lamb shank was okay, I do wish they put barberries in the rice. Other than that again, it's just a piece of lamb with rice. You need to order or put things with it like veggies or something else authentic on the side. This is my only criticism with Persian food in places like this. It's good to come here and share with a bunch of people different things since some of the authentic solo dishes kinda Don't make sense to eat on your own. There's definitely potential in this place, they could even make the food tastier if they wanted to.

We enjoyed the atmosphere on the patio in Westdale last Friday night. The indoor dining is not available yet. The menu items are very tempting but we just had the koobideh (Persion kebab). It comes with a choice of one side or you can upgrade to a premium side. My husband chose the Sherazi salad and I had the Nannaa fries. The salad was tasty but hubby likes greens in his salad, so he was a bit dissaponted as the salad was finely chopped tomato, cucumber and although it was a generous portion it would have been a better choice if we were going to share. He thought it would have been more "chunky", but that's a personal preference. The special fries are really good and again the portion was generous. The meat was juicy and tasty. It would have been nice to have a dipping sauce. Next time I will order a side of the walnut pomegranate. We would have preferred two smaller size sides rather than one. Service was friendly and efficient. Nice community ambiance along the sidewalk patio. Price was good for what we had. Look forward to trying more of the menu items when we have a bigger appetite and to share with friends.

I'm extremely shocked and I never thought of reviewing this issue anywhere in Canada. I'm wondering how this restaurant has passed the inspection agency !!! Keeping and maintaining the restaurant clean inside and out is critical for customers to feel secure and happy with what they are eating! Sadly this restaurant in front has a nice atmosphere and an excellent modern Persian vibe. Once you decide to go washroom is where the disaster starts from the greasy kitchen to employee doors to black stains or muddy stairs the washroom was......!!!! Sadly I lost my appetite! I rush to eat, small bites and decide to go. I couldn't pass it! But to be fair, I have to review what I taste. I had Zaytoon and eggplant walnut as starters were amazing, and kubaidah for the main. I felt the same taste and the same level of Shayhoon Persian restaurant in Burlington ( same owner) even better in taste and serving time. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food quality and presentation were excellent. I hope this review will gain their attention to maintaining cleaning!

No clue what the mixed reviews are all about. Just tried Nannaa for the first time this afternoon and I was very pleasantly surprised. The owner, Mohammed, got up and greeted me and assisted in taking my order at the counter. I got the beef stew with eggplant (bademjoon stew) and it was outsanding. The beef was fall-off-the-bone tender and the eggplant was very lightly fried but did not make the dish greasy. I didn't leave a drop of the tomato-garlic based sauce. I found I had a lot of rice and yogurt-spinach dip leftover when I had polished off the stew, so asked to take home some of another dish without rice. Mohammed let me sample two other dishes (chicken stew with pomegranate molasses; beef stew with herbs, lemon, and romano beans). Again, both had meat that was incredibly tender and sauces that were clearly prepared with a lot of care. He explained the all of the recipes were passed down from his mother. Baklava was very traditional, apparently imported from Turkey; would get again. Service was a mix of self-serve and service, but was clearly explained and was attentive. Decor was unique, modern, and colourful, and truly brightened the space. All aspects of the restaurant and the bathrooms downstairs were very clean. Will definitely return for both eat-in...

IF YOU ARE HAVING DOUBT ABOUT GOING HERE READ THIS :)- i usually never leave review for restaurants, but this place is so stellar I felt I had to. The portion sizes for all the main dishes are huge, and I always have left overs (and I can eat A LOT). Yes, the apps are small, but that’s the whole point of appetizers!! What they lack in size they make up for in flavour. Some people don’t enjoy the taste of the spices but even if it’s not your style you cannot deny the quality. Amazing service, great atmosphere, and food that makes it one of my top picks in the west end ( I eat out a lot, trust me on this guys). Great vegetarian options as well!! Ignore the bad reviews, unless of course you have no taste or are afraid of trying something new. If you made it this far sorry I rambled I’m just a big fan

Edit - although I hate to comment on this at all it appears that some accounts think I’m a fake account because I’ve only left one review !! 1. I’m a very real person with no connection to this restaurant so please don’t negatively mention my name in your reviews,,,2. LIKE I SAY IN THE FIRST LINE- I never leave reviews I usually don’t have the time or review on instagram. So yes I only have one google review. Please chill out- these are google reviews it’s...
