My husband and I ordered in from Momo Chowmein - The Hakka Spot last night. Large portions, great prices, fantastic flavours. I had a head cold and was pretty congested so I wanted some spicy soup. Ordered a regular size of the Nepali Thukpa and let me just tell you, my sinuses were cleared by the 2nd bite, and I kid you not, it's been 18 hours since last night's dinner and I feel like a million bucks! Adios, congestion! I couldn't even finish the whole regular sized container, between the spiciness and it was just a filling dish. Husband got the mixed pad Thai with chicken/shrimp/beef and said it was amazing. We also ordered a house hakka style biryani with chicken & shrimp that was also spicy, but manageable spicy (nothing compared to the soup!) I'm pretty sure the box weighed 3-4 lbs upon arrival. Needless say, there's a ton of leftover biryani which we'll eat up for dinner tonight, and I've frozen the remains of the soup for the next time I get a cold. If I can make one suggestion to the owners, maybe consider making your "spicy indicators" more specific on the menu - perhaps super spicy dishes (like my soup) could at least have 2 peppers to give people a better idea of the spice level. UPDATE as of 31-Dec-2024: They have consistently maintained their great customer service. I give them 5 star rating again and highly recommend their food and hospitality. I ordered from a delivery service and they were great with portions of the chicken corn soup.

To elevate the taste even further, I recommend adding a touch of chili vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil—those simple additions really bring the soup to life and take the flavor to the next level.
