. The worst experience ever had in Osmows Since 2 years. I was inside the store and wanted to have one falafal half and half box with everything vegan. When i picked up and i was about to start with fries then i saw a piece of meat. I went inside and told that lady who might have made the food for me because i was in washroom and then i showed her and then there was her colleague named Ali . She went to him and told that there was this and this firstly i wanted to replace it but when that Ali said there is no meat . Then i asked for the refund and see he said we wasted the food for you. For me seriously? The food has been wasted when there was meat . That lady instead of changing it asking me that Shall i remove this peice then it is okay for you. More over Ali was so rude. When they were talking with each other lady said him that she has not changed her gloves due to this the meat has gone into the food. when I told Ali, there was a meat inside the box, he told me that there is no difference between meat and vegetarian food. I was literally shocked that at the moment when he told me that there was no difference. I really want to talk with the manager of that osmosis or either way I’m gonna file a case for both of them because they have mislead me to eat non-veg instead of vegetarian food even though I have asked for the vegetarian I don’t eat non-veg anything and afterwards also like when he was about to give me the refund, he throw the money on the table. You know like he he gave it in a very rude way. I didn’t like it that’s the reason. I am making a review here so the owner of the facility might will give a little bit of attention towards it and as all mention, the behaviour of the Ali was very rude. Read moreMy wife and I love osmows and the first few times no issue until we found a large black hair in my wife’s order. My wife was not too pleased and we drove back and asked for a refund they stated they do not give refunds and just said we can give you another order and we thought that was odd but later on my wife emailed head office in which they clarified our confusion stating that in fact we were entitled to a refund and rectified the issue by refunding us. We had no issue after and decided to stop by today with our 6 month old baby and made our order excited for our food until the lady serving us narrowed her eyes at us and said you came before and made a complaint about the hair it was you and my wife and stated yes but why does that matter the issue was resolved and they kept saying we remember you and then accused us of taking food then getting a refund when all we did was as ask at the beginning for the 1st incident to have a refund and accused us of just having a free meal. At this point we demanded a refund and they kept saying we just made your food and tried to deter us from taking our refund.This is despicable how we were treated. They did not wear hair nets and got in crap for it and now got nasty towards us for their mistake. Customers be warned they are not friendly and we are very turned off from the whole experience. This is the second time we have had an issue this needs to be rectified. I feel for the owner when the reviews are 1 or 2 stars and solely based on huge footfalls at the store during peak hours where the staff is not able to live upto the fast service expectations. Hence, I'd leave my review solely based on food quality and value for money and sadly it is still only 3 star.
I've been to numerous shawarma places over the years including 5 other Osmow's locations and this location is by far the worst in terms of value for your money. I ordered chicken on the rocks (large) and a Super chicken wrap. Quantity of chicken in both these items were so minimal that half way into my meal, I was actually looking for chicken. When a customer is ordering chicken on the rocks, that container should not be 90% filled with rocks - chicken has to be at least 30-40%. Understandably meat prices are up in this pandemic but so are food prices at the restaurant. So at the end, the customer is paying more and getting less while the restaurants are making nearly as same as what they used to before COVID. I've also found this location to be on an expensive side compared to other Shawarma places.
Usually, I'd name other competitors while leaving such reviews but I won't do it this time. I'd want to give this Osmow's another opportunity to improve and show my support to a local store in my community.
