Response to owner below: my complaint isn’t the size of the kiddie cone, it’s the size of the single. It’s the same size as the kiddie cone. (My daughter had started eating her kiddie cone, and my single was the same size) I love having you guys and you’re local to me which is why we chose to visit your establishment. As for the ownership change, I’m not in the habit of asking a place who owns them and if it has changed hands, so I don’t know how this would be relevant to my comments. Perhaps a takeaway from this is to have a diagram of the scoop sizes so that customers can make informed decisions and know what to expect.

April 2023 Update: unfortunately they’ve started to skimp out. Somehow my single scoop at almost twice the price was the same size as my kids “kiddie cone”. It wasn’t put “into” the cone and just sat on top. My cookies and crème also tasted like banana. (Last photo for size comparison in 2023)

Original review: Its pretty hard to screw up ice-cream. Its such a nice little local shop and I love taking my kids here. because of covid there isn't really any place to eat it except the parking lot. Some picnic tables in the grass would be fantastic but I imagine its a liability/who cleans it etc.

Very unfortunate, but our favourite ice cream shop has gone completely downhill. The owner and family were so sweet but they have jacked up the prices and reduced the sizes. I understand inflation and the cost increase but to also change the size is a shame. They also didn't provide the ice cream (received chocolate instead of cookie dough and peanut putter) we ordered which was disappointing and their brownie is not nearly as big or fresh anymore.

Update: What a disappointment. The owners clearly can't take constructive feedback as per their responses to other customers. We will definitely not be going back. I don't need an owner responding to an honest review, being condescending and acting as if consumers are not entitled to voice their concerns. Here is another little hidden treasure for people wanting to cool off or just enjoy a great ice cream cone. The people that run the place are super friendly and love seeing people enjoying their products. They have a huge selection of ice cream and toppings. Even tiger tail that I find hard to get. I had a scoop of tiger tail and a scoop of Spiderman. Awesome choices. And they don't give a tiny scoop , they are old school and give you a huge scoop every time.
