Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Hamilton

I'm not a fan of chain pizzerias but I will say that Pizza Nova's dedication to quality stands out in their food. I chose this location even though it was quite further a drive than the Upper James location. Their Google rating was higher and I will say that it was worth the drive. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman who took my order. When I mentioned that I drove out of my way he threw in a pair of hot Italian pepperoni sticks gratis. He also said that it would be worth going out of my way. I must say that they did not disappoint. We ordered the Double Deal ( 2 mediums) the Pepperoni with extra cheese had so much mozzarella that you couldn't see the meat at all. Traditionally when specials are ordered places always skimp on the toppings, especially cheese which is the most expensive product. This certainly was not the case here. The other pizza had all veg and was super flavouful. Their Italian hot peppers are way better than traditional banana peppers that everyone else serves. Also impressive was the taste of the sauce. Their use of quality tomatoes ring out in the flavour. The mozzarella cheese was top quality as well. I highly recommend this Pizza Nova location for service and excellent quality food. The owner of this location is absolutely horrendous. I placed a delivery order a couple weeks back. The driver notified me the payment went through (obviously as to why he would leave the pizzas with me and drive away). Upon closer look by the store it seems it did not. I spoke directly with the owner and assured him it was an accident and that I will pay him when I’m back in the area (It was delivered to an address I don’t live at). I also said to I would happily place another order as to make it worth while for both parties. I have not been back yet but communicated this on a few occasions. I recently visited Omid’s store and wanted to share my wonderful experience! I tried their pizza, and it was absolutely delicious — one of the best I’ve had! What really stood out to me, though, was the cleanliness of the store. The washroom was spotless, and there was a pleasant fragrance throughout the entire place. It’s not every day you find a restaurant that pays attention to these details, so I really appreciated it.

Additionally, Omid’s positive attitude really reflects in his team. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service, which made my visit even more enjoyable.

I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this store to anyone looking for great food in a clean, well-maintained environment with fantastic service.
