Starbucks — Restaurant in Hamilton

Writing a review to help improvement of this store.

I have been coming to this location since I moved in Stoney Creek (2 years). At the beginning the service at this location was very slow and staff were arrogant and more chatty to each other than taking customer. Since Amanda came to this store it has been getting better. Im assuming she is a shift leader because everything is always good when she is here; cleanliness, drinks and food quality and customer service.

I used to come here with all my coworkers to work together but since this location do not focus on customer's instructions we all had to go to Starbucks in Grimsby.

I would like to suggest a lot of improvement on following customer's instructions as simple as ;"light ice, extra syrup, extra add ons etc". I come 2-3 times a day at Starbucks and it gets embarrassing to ask to remake the drink everytime I order and most of the staff gives attitude like they are being bothered when customers ask to remake the drinks that they made wrong. That is 3 drinks a day wasted. Starbucks is known for quality beverages; customers are spending $7 - $12 a drink! Regular-customers that comes 2-3 times a day spends around $200 every week and that is unfortunate to lose over forgetting to put a pump of syrup!

I have been coming here for over a year and I can only say one thing I will only be going to this location when either Brenda or Amanda is at the register, the new girls are arrogant/ignorant to the point where they don’t acknowledge that a person who is paying $8 for a latte can spare 70 cents for one pump of different syrup.. I usually get my latte half sweet and this one time I asked for 1 pump to the barista while she was making my coffee and the girl pulled me back to pay 70 cents for that 1 pump while I just asked 2 pumps which usually comes with 5 so the maths wasn’t too difficult but they don’t have the courtesy to even loyal customers..

Mind it this will never happen at any other location they will happily add 1 pump for you if u ask.

Their lunch sandwich was awful too with no chicken to be seen just some pesto on the bread wasn’t worth the $$$ either.. Instead try the location on Stone church road near sobeys as they have wonderful bunch of Baristas working there who go above and beyond every single time...

This is one of my normal daily coffee stops. Usually 3 days a week. Every day. I’m usually greeted by a new drive thru window worker. I’ve seen them before. But not daily. Maybe once a week or so. They are usually very nice and professional. Today though. Is the first day I felt that I was intentionally scammed. I paid cash to a young lady. She short changed me. I mentioned it to her. She said Nothing about it. Just got the amount from a dish and gave it to me. Saying nothing again. Like. She meant to do that. Unless I noticed. Usually you would get an apology or an exclamation or something. Her name started with a K and I have never have seen her before. I have an issue with tipping at a simple drive thru. I’m not dining inside and you’re not doing anything above and beyond for me. Like serving me at a table. Today’s transaction / purchase kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I felt it was not...
