The Chicken Wrap was a perfect balance of tender, marinated meat and crisp veggies, wrapped in soft, pillowy lavash. A drizzle of creamy garlic sauce brought it all together — warm, comforting, and full of flavour. The Beef Wrap delivered a deeper, more robust flavour, with juicy beef doner layered into every bite, and a smoky undertone that kept us coming back for more.

Next up were the sandwiches. The Chicken Sandwich featured the same juicy chicken, now nestled in Turkish-style bread that soaked up all the flavour without falling apart. Fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion added texture and brightness. The Beef Sandwich was packed with rich, savoury doner slices, slightly crispy on the edges and deeply spiced — hearty, satisfying, and downright addictive.

Sultan Ahmet Express Turkish Bistro delivers an authentic and satisfying shawarma experience with a distinct Turkish flair. I tried their Shawarma Chicken Sandwich, and it was excellent, the chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy, wrapped in fresh, warm bread with just the right amount of vegetables and sauce to balance the flavour . The seasoning had a unique depth compared to standard shawarma, giving it a more Mediterranean-Turkish profile rather than the typical Middle Eastern taste. I have to mention their 50-cent ice cream cone, an unbeatable deal. The serving size is surprisingly generous for the price, making it the perfect sweet finish to a hearty meal

The atmosphere really sets this place apart. As you enjoy your meal, you’re surrounded by the sounds of traditional Turkish music, which creates a warm and culturally rich dining environment. We stopped at Sultan Ahmed Bistro on a whim earlier this afternoon when my son asked for pizza after this doctor's appointment. And now I think we will be coming back here repeatedly. It is real value for money. I didn't expect a 10$ cheese pizza to be this large and flavourful. I'm also so so so glad I tried the doner kebab wrap. The wrap itself was no ordinary pita it was different more like a thin naan and seemed restaurant baked, so soft and delicious. It was generously loaded with doner kebab and just the right amount of zest and crunchy vegetables. It's unlike a shawarma which I'm used to eating. The location itself is very small, with an elaborate assortment of desserts on display. Will try those for another day. It has seating for 2 people only and you have to figure out parking around the area. The service is excellent. The cashier was very helpful with our questions and kind to my son.
