Sunset Grill — Restaurant in Hamilton

I placed an order at 8:20. At 8:31 I received a call informing me that the order would be ready at 9am. Ok. They're busy. I understand that.

When I arrive at 9am, I wait in queue behind two others and she says that they are making it right now and she will bring it out to my car for me.

I wait in my car for 20 minutes. The gentleman who was inside before me is now outside waiting as well. He was told she would bring it outside to him, but he had to go back inside to see what the situation was. He eventually leaves with his food. So, I wait another 15 minutes after he leaves and no one comes out, so I call inside at 9:46. No one answers the phone.

I wait another 5 minutes and I decide to go back into the restaurant. The wait staff address no one, and scoot back and forth, packing orders and picking up receipts. There seems to be no delegation of duties or system to them. The kitchen staff is working extremely hard. By 10am I am finally given my order.

When I arrive home we are missing an English muffin and two pancakes. Our eggs have also taken on the imprint of the checkered wrapping, with squares of red dye deeply leeched into the food.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened here. They need to get their act together and find a system. Poor organization...

Fast and fresh breakfast good waitress and great food. The price is a bit steep which is why we only come here and there.

Returned to this location a year later. Sadly food quality has gone downhill. Food is cooked with no love but high steep prices. We were served uncooked potato’s that were returned to recook. Potato’s came back still raw. We were told the cook in the back tryed the potatoes and we were wrong. We won’t return.. sad because we would come here every weekend… this place at some point must of changed hands and it shows badly. Goodbye...

This was my first time at this location. I really enjoyed my breakfast which was the French connection with bacon. Food was great. Service was very poor. Short blonde haired waitress basically ignored our table the entire time. We waited 20 minutes for coffee. Not impressed. While we dined the staff were having a full blown argument! One woman employee told the cook to stop "whining like a woman" . How offensive and unprofessional. Hopefully the staff can get it together and hopefully the blonde waitress is fired because she is a terrible server. If they can do this, they wouldn't get any complaints from me...
