This is my 1st time dining at Stacked.
This location is a superior place to enjoy both a hearty & delicious breakfast.
5 stars all around.
Hubby & I enjoyed the breakfast that included 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 strips of bacon, homefries, & 2 pancakes.
First, let me tell you that I was stunned when I saw the pancakes- they were huge, thick & fluffy, & nearly the size of the plate itself.
This breakfast is for someone with a heartier appetite than I have & I ordered it because: a) I was famished &, b) it was meant to be a brunch (it was a late breakfast &/or an early lunch).
I like my bacon crispy & my sausages butterflied (split in two) & also cooked to being crispy.
My order was perfect!
The bacon was crispy & neither greasy nor was it salty, & that is a first for me in a very long time.
The slices of bacon were of a very generous size & not like some of the meager scraps served at many other restaurants & eateries.
The sausages were cooked also to perfection & were flavourful & crispy & not spicy; so many places seem to add a lot of spice to give their food flavour, whereas Stacked relies on flavour of the product itself & not copious amounts of seasoning to try to dress up a bland or non-descript food.
I had my eggs cooked hard as I did not have toast to dip into over easy eggs.
Again, the eggs were perfect.
Hubby opted for over-easy on his eggs, & they were cooked to his liking.
I opted to pay the extra $ 1.49 for real maple syrup as opposed to table syrup.
This works for me because I do not drown my pancakes in table syrup.
The $ 1.49 gets you about 2 ounces of syrup which is sufficient to my tastes; however, if your preference is to drench or drown your pancakes then expect to use more than one serving of the 'real deal' (pay more) or opt for the abundant supply of table syrup that is available, without limit, for your enjoyment & consumption.
The pancakes can come with whipped cream on them or on the side.
Hubby & I opted for "on the side" & found we had plenty.
I drizzled maple syrup on my pancake, cut off a piece, & then lightly spread a bit of whipped cream on it, & it was delectable.
It should be noted that the home fries were piping hot & most delicious, but I could not eat them all & still have room to tackle a pancake, which I wanted to try.
It should also be noted that our server brought us separate plates upon which to place our pancakes while we tackled the rest of our breakfast.
I managed to eat my eggs, bacon, sausage, a few homefries, & one pancake.
There was no way I could consume the second pancake.
Hubby ate the remainder of my homefries but could not eat his second pancake.
Thus, we took our pancakes & my remaining maple syrup home.
Hubby stated that the table syrup provided is average tasting as one would expect imitation syrup to be - I cannot state my opinion on the matter as I am not partial to table syrup.
The coffee was good - not exceptional - but it was hot, & in ready supply, & servers were always willing to top you up.
Cream & milk, as well as sugar & artificial sweetener, are on the table - milk & cream come in those small (tiny) little single serve containers (milkettes & creamettes) where you pull the foil top off of them.
I am not partial to this form of self-serve, more because: a) I do not like any perishable product sitting on my table unrefrigerated for any length of time & b) I take a fair amount of milk in my coffee & this means opening up a few of the milkette containers.
The total for our two breakfasts & two bottomless coffee came to $ 45.00 if I round up the change (it was $ 44.00 ++ but closest to $ 45.00).
It is pricey as breakfasts go, but it was also an enjoyable & over-filling meal that was cooked to perfection.
Given that I cannot fault anything in my breakfast &, in point of fact, enjoyed it immensely, I will not quibble about the price.
I shall, in future, order the smaller breakfast that will be more manageable for me to eat.
Smaller meals are available (& non-breakfast foods).

I ordered 3 eggs over easy, brown texas toast, crispy homefries, and crispy bacon... 35 minutes later, my food arrived, 3 over cooked eggs, which were inedible, undercooked homefries, and a lot of bacon flavoured cardboard strips... Toast was awesome however someone forgot to butter it! I kept waiting for the waitress to come over, but she was quite busy... I was starved, and figured i am not waiting another 30 plus minutes to get a replacement plate... So i began eating my bacon flavoured cardboard and unbuttered toast, realizing i was still hungry, i ate the potatoes, uncooked ones and all... But i would not eat the eggs even if it were to save my life, over cooked rubber slabs... Finally the waitress came back, and i jokingly told what i thought about the food... And asked for my bill, however i was not blaming her, for the poorly made food... Infact she was the best part of the whole meal, which i told her herself! It was quite comical... We both laughed... I guess she had a conscience and didn't think i should pay for my breakfast... So she told her manager that i wasn't satisfied with my meal... The next thing that happened, was unreal... The manager came storming towards my table as i was pulling money out of my wallet to pay the bill, and started speaking loudly for everyone around to hear... Which i had not done with the waitress... No apology for the gross food, told me not to worry about my meal, it was being comped... And next time to ask for a manager rather than "take it out on my waitress" which i had not done... As she walked away she said you can pay for your next meal, i then said i would not be returning... At the end of the day, stacked needs to teach their mangers how to talk to customers, and maybe a thing or two about discretion... At the end of the day the food gets a 10... Steaming piles of poo! The wait staff were courteous and comical, and the manager should be forced to eat very meal at stacked...
ย ย ย Read moreThis was our first time here at this establishment. Mellisa was our server. She was awesome, she recommended different things to try etc. We are very pleased with our menu selections. The whole place was amazing. We'll worth the stop. I would definitely recommend this place to stop and eat. July 29/23 we went again...not the usual prompt service...we waited for 45 minutes before we got our order, place wasn't busy, and only because we asked as we saw people who arrived after us being served before us. When we got our food, it was cold. When the server came to check on us, we told her that but because it was already 2:35 when we got our food, getting a new serving would mean waiting till after closing, not convenient for as we aren't from Hanover. We were not compensated with a discount or an offer for a discounted meal for next time. We were very disappointed. I think the establishment should compensate our meal, since it was a horrible experience. We will not be coming back anytime soon. All the server did was say sorry about the meal. I found this very unacceptable. We should've been compensated for thi s horrible experience. ๐ We were at the Hanover stacked pancake house today and the food was amazing. The service was top notch. We were offered to come back and have a meal on them. We were given a $50 gift card. So yes I would say go back and enjoy . Everything was perfect as this is what the service and food should be. Thanks for...
