Burger King — Restaurant in Hawkesbury

I came from Montreal and was in Hawkesbury Ontario about 1 hour and 20 minutes away from my location and realized all I had was my double cappuccino in the morning. But I had a bunch of food coupons for fast food joints stuffed over the passenger side sun visor. I was surprised how many of them were expired including some Burger King ones but some weren't. And after doing my routine of gas fill up an LCBO and bulk Barn and Staples and topping off my gas at $0.28 a liter less than Montreal, I was certainly hungry. The Burger King coupon wasn't expired and I remember there was one of these places just beside Carol's restaurant on the main Street across from that pot store , where I also pick up CDB oil as part of my routine. The place was pretty big and quite empty but clean. I got a perfect spot right in front of the door entrance without a handicap indicator so I was lucky. I appreciate handicap parking for a few reason unfortunately There were only a couple of other people in front of me and I could see people working in the kitchen. The TV mount was now empty with the straps holding nothing while they had apparently upgraded to live cameras and another type of screen. There seems to be one woman running the place cuz she was doing all the work from taking the orders to delivering them to creating them along with other people. She even waved goodbye when I left the store and she put a sticker on this on the door I entered telling people to use the other door which apparently confused a lot of them and they couldn't figure out why they couldn't get in and stared at what she had typed up which was very clear and obvious. She in fact is a dynamic Duo all on her own. Unfortunately I was hungry and for a fast food joint with no other people. Maybe there was a car lineup or something but it took like 15 minutes to get my order and nothing was really quite ready. There wasn't a pile of burgers there as probably smart move because there were no people except for an older couple in front of me who ate their food and left quickly and later a family with a couple of young kids after me. So the service wasn't fast. However, I tried the Wendy's burgers and they weren't any good anymore in Montreal at two different places. Wendy's got bought out along with Tim Hortons by a South American concern and they've changed things back and forth and all over and frankly I don't like anything about them anymore. These burgers were actually almost like a real burger. Of course, it's fast food and they do a lot of stuff that we would all be repulsed of if we knew it was going on. In chemistry or bio biology 101, they study the recipes of McDonald's hamburgers for instance, and it's shocking and appalling. Quite frankly. Articles about how french fries are prepared and heavily sprayed by in McDonald's french fry potato Fields in the Philippines and how the workers won't go near the fields for 3 weeks after it's been sprayed by men and hazmat's suits. Okay so we all know that fast food Is not healthy food but I needed some food and fast. I was hungry and 15 minutes waiting was no good. But this one woman doing almost all the jobs was impressive. She seemed to be lacking English. So she probably came over to work in Hawkesbury Ontario from the Quebec side. Absolutely beautiful bridge between quebeca and Ontario. Montreal has no quality Bridges of that. Superb design and manufacturer and all our bridges disintegrate here in Montreal and Montreal's in Iowa and so we need good bridges and! I finished my burger quietly. Watched everything. It was a mini burger with fries and a beverage that I filled up myself. Although they forgot to give me the cup for the beverage. That was the car order woman gal person who is handing me the stuff of my order without the cup. I did ask for a fork - it was in wood. It wasn't wrapped & she handled it. Not Sanitary. Usually there's always wrapped in plastic. Burger excellent flavor. Almost like it was real. BK is now my #1 junk burger...

Used to be one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches, croissant with egg and cheese beat competitors English muffin (You know to whom I refer) hands down. I thought they were prepared fresh (or at least somewhat fresh) and then given to the customer. They aren't, and I was handed microwaved sandwiches that were still all cold in the center, not even warm, cold. The owner/manager (bald, bearded, heavier guy) is unbelievably rude, talks to you (the customer) like it's such a big deal to serve you, like it's a real inconvenience to get your food order for you, he's really not friendly, add to this their is no debit machine at the drive through window (or it's broken) so the owner/manager rudely demands you hand over your card to him so he can go pass it at the interior terminal... Then gives you a hard time if your tap doesn't work, that's WHY cards have pins! Bad enough he demands you give him YOUR card.

The place is open sporadically, most likely due to lack of staff, but I can understand why as who would want to work for this guy for minimum wage? Or in that environment? The interior looks like it's stuck in the '90s and has had no updates in 30 years. Multiple times I have gone in the AM (Google says location open) only to find it closed and the dining room door locked. I finally found it open one AM recently and gave them a shot again, sadly they blew it. I'm done with Burger King (at least this location) and will not return ever again.

Cold food, rude/snide owner/manager, sporadic hours, slow service, antiquated interior (I could have forgiven this one if not for the rest) badly in need of updating, and the list goes one.

Have been there twice in the last two weeks , and have had food missing from my order both times , called the first time and had a free meal offered, second time had a free meal offered and they knew my burger was missing they had it there, told them I was going to come get my missing burger so both my fiancé and I could eat , said I would be there in 5 minutes and they said ok , this call was at 8:02pm , when I arrived at 8:08 pm and they were closed and no one was there, called and left a message that night and had no reply called again at 1:50 pm and spoke to the manager and said that now I wish to have 2 free meals , she then said very unprofessionally that no absolutely not that she would only give me one meal , I said again 2 , I have driven there twice and was not able to eat the night before , she rudely told me no only 1 meal , I said I will call the owner on Monday and disconnected the call, I was polite until she was rude to me , not asking a lot for making 2 trips when they said come and closed the doors and went home not very good costumer service at all , all so it says online they are open till 10 pm on a...
