My partner and I were travelling thru Hope to travel to Okanagan Valley and it was recommended for us to try Home Restaurant from a friend in Abbotsford area. So I got a clubhouse with poutine and my partner ordered a BBQ ranch salad. Food: Might be biased because I love me a clubhouse and poutine, but the clubhouse was top notch, especially with the freshly sliced turkey and crisp bacon. Fries were fresh cut and perfectly crisp. Poutine that comes with curds is a must in my eyes, which this did. The only unfortunate thing for me was the gravy. Something was different vs most poutines in the gravy. It was still good, but didn't have the wow factor on me. Salad looked absolutely delicious, I wish I tried a bite. Service: I feel like the service was great. We went at a busy time (12:30pm). Upon arrival we had to put our name on a list with a 20 minute wait estimate. 20 minutes later our table was seated, water was served promptly and they gave us the perfect amount of time to review the menu and then order. Food arrived approximately 20 minutes, which seemed like a good amount of time for a busy sit down restaurant. Atmosphere: Pulling into the parking lots you can tell you are in for a good meal, as it's busy on a Tuesday at lunch. Walking into the restaurant you are greeted by a giant display case of mouthwatering desserts. The decor isn't anything fancy, but it's comfortable for a diner. Overall: Highly recommended if you are passing thru or staying nearby Hope. Definately "Hope" to visit again one day ;)

We stopped by here as we were driving home on the long weekend! Showed up around 6pm on Saturday and was seated right away. We were a table of 6 so we were very lucky they had room to take us. The overall vibe of this place is lovely. Definitely makes you feel like home with the lovely service and fresh home cook meals. The portions for all of the food are huge, so I feel like pricing is very reasonable. Unfortunately they forgot to bring out all our sauces and we had to ask multiple times for them so we could eat. The vinegar bottles were very watered down which was odd? Tasted like it was half filled with water. Aswell as I ordered a pie to go , and it was the wrong pie. I felt bad asking for a new slice because they had already cut this huge piece and most likely were going to throw it away if I returned it so I took it anyway. It was still delicious, just not the one I was hoping for. The rest of the food was very good, and definitely made me feel full. If I’m driving by again and I have the chance to stop by for more pie and cheese cake to go , I definitely will! Highly recommend those

It is a HOMEy restaurant :3 The menu is not very complicated which I like the most. Food: 4/5 everything tastes good but nothing pops out to make it a 5/5 rating. I ordered the baked lasagna which was very fresh from the oven (wished there's more pasta to the meat ratio). My sister ordered the mountain man breakfast and the highlight was the potatoes which were cooked to perfection; however, the ham brought the rating down. It didn't taste like ham at all (?). The cheesecake tastes homemade which is the best kind of dessert. Recommendation: Mountain Man breakfast and the cheesecake!! Serving: 10/5 very huge portions for its price! Service: 3/5 covid 19 protocol. Seating was far apart which eliminate needs for plastic barrier. Although, I noticed the waitress who helped us was wearing a "mouth shield" instead of a mask that can also cover the nose. Yes, I know that us, as customers, are safe but for her as a worker, she is not fully protected. She is very nice and gave us recommendations not only on the food but also places to see im Hope.

"Home is definitely the place to dine! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the most welcoming and friendly staff. The atmosphere is inviting, and the whole location is exceptionally well-kept. It's the kind of place that immediately makes you feel at home.

The first thing that catches your eye when you enter is the impressive display of pies, cakes, and desserts. It's a mouthwatering sight, and you know you're in for a treat. Delicious doesn't even begin to describe it.

I opted for the short rib egg Benedict, and it was a revelation. The beef was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. It was a true culinary delight, and I couldn't get enough of it.

But it wasn't just the food that was amazing; the entire experience was outstanding. All the servers were exceptional, ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch. However, what really stood out was the manager. They were incredibly thoughtful and attentive to the customers' needs, making sure everything was just right.

Home restaurant is a place where you seriously can't go wrong. The menu offers a wide variety of options to cater to every taste, and the quality is consistently outstanding. Whether you're looking for a delightful breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or a fantastic dinner, Home has it all. It's a place where you feel not just like a customer, but like family. So, if you're looking for a memorable dining experience, Home is where you should be heading. It's more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven that leaves you...

A good restaurant just off the #3. I came in with a rather large group after a long drive and they worked to get us in as fast as they could. We had to sit in separated tables or wait longer so we took what they could give to start eating.

The place is a bit dated looking but nothing to spoil anything, they also have pictures from the locations past which I like and a nice display showing off their big cakes/pies at the entrance, that's just not fair😋.

The place itself was busy so I'll let it be known the servers were short on words but it's easy to understand why. Getting helped when needed though was still easy so props to the staff for toughing it through.

The food was hit or miss. I had the BBQ ribs which is my go to but my gosh these were spicy it's been a long time since I've had BBQ with spice that I was wondering what had happened. The ribs, in the end were to saucy that the meats flavor just disappeared it was more in tune to BBQ sauce with rib. My wife on the other hand had a mushroom Swiss burger and she said it was one of the best she had in a while (which is saying a lot) and the others in my party had the diner sets (turkey/meat loaf). Also we all had a pie slice for home and I can say having now eaten the blueberry pie it's good after waiting 3 hours👍

All said a good dinner experience. Just the ribs threw it off, personally a 4/5 but considering my party's...
