Great little area to spend the day with the family and grandkids. An area called suckers creek just off the coquihalla river with a few small pools of water where the kids can catch tadpoles minnows and crawfish with a large sandy area to sit and watch the young one's play. Awsome place. On the side where to park is a trail that brings you around back of a marsh that has a variaty of wild life like ducks beavers, frogs and a variaty of birds. Lovely place to spend a day and...

The place has good trails and nice running water to relax by the sides. The river water is mentioned to be cold but everyone was seen taking an easy dip in the water. Even the kods loved the place, the water flow is high at some places deep too, so caution needs to be taken before moving in. There is a movable washroom placed in the parking area. Only 1 picnic table present at the trail head, but considering the spize of parking, its sufficient. Parking here can be tought...

I went August 6 2022 and the mosquitoes on the mountain trail were SO bad!! Bring bug spray unless you like being eaten alive. The walk up the mountain was lovely and the trees provided ample shade during the walk which was a great reprieve from the sun. The views of the lake and the city were impressive and certainly worth the hill walk on the way up. Elevation gain was just under 200m so not bad and we finished in just under an...

This regional park was easy enough to find and was alright, but i think it only exists as a river access point? It was fairly easy to get to the Coquihalla River. The park was obviously popular with a full parking lot. However, the crosswalk to get to the river side was questionably placed on a blind corner. I was not a fan for walking across the road, or for trying to exit the parking lot.
