We used the electronic kiosk to order - so much easier than squinting at the menus and constantly being asked if we were ready. When we went up to the counter I noticed that there was only one other order ahead of us. It took awhile for someone to get to the counter for us to pay, but eventually they got around to it. A small rush of people arrived which excuses the delay a little bit. Several people received their orders before the couple that was originally in front of us, and as it turns out their order was only two coffees and a hot chocolate.
At some point in between we had finally received our order... except it wasn't our order - instead of two burgers, fries, and a happy meal we received two ice cream cones that were promptly dumped back into the machine once they realized the mix up (not sure if anyone had even ordered it in the first place). By the time our order was ready the couple had received their coffees but no hot chocolate.
My dad is a little particular about his fries and insisted on taste testing them before we left. The fries were stale and one of the employees was very nice and made sure we would get fries from the next batch. At this point the couple received their hot chocolate and left. Another employee, however, was quite rude and took some fries that was meant to be ours and gave it to someone in the drive thru. When my dad pointed it out the employee insisted that it wasn't a problem even though it made our wait even longer, although the problem was very minor he could have handled it better.
The fries passed the test and we went back to our car to eat. They put my dad's burger in the wrong box, my burger was lopsided and when I tried to fix it the cheese nearly tore the bun apart. My dad noted that the burgers were very dry.
The overall attitude of the employees was careless, they didn't seem to be rushing to get all the orders through at all. One employee kept leaving the counter to sit with friends.
I'm not sure if my words did our experience justice, but it was truly the worst experience I've had at McDonald's, or just any fast food chain in general. It's worth noting that I hardly ever leave reviews for a place but I after leaving the place I felt compelled to leave a dozen negative reviews just to emphasise how horrible it was.
On the plus side, they accidentally gave my brother two bottles of chocolate milk.

Read moreWe went through the drive through to make two orders seemed fine then at the window we find out they didnt add one of the meals to the first order so we corrected that then we where told to pull around and wait when the food came the first order was missing the drink despite putting the order In twice but my friend never wanted it anyways then my family's order was missing two large fries and the receipt they gave us was for the wrong order it was for someone else's order of two smoothies and a coffee obviously not ours since we had already received most of our food and since we where on our way home from a camping trip and buried in luggage and stuff my friend went back inside and explained the whole thing and he said the girl behind the counter said no problem to give the fries and then who I'm guessing is the manager steps in and says no your receipt doesn't show any food so he explained again and was told no without the receipt the he could only refund the coffee luckily my friend said no demands the fries, but I guess said the wrong size, but eventually comes out with 2 medium fries like we ordered 4 large fries one with a meal and the rest separately and ended up with 2 large and 2 medium still feel kind of like I got robbed perhaps they should give the receipt when you pay rather than at the food window so you can make sure what your paying for is correct and that if you dont get what what you've paid for you have the proper receipt to prove it rather than solely relying on the obviously inept staff to do their job correctly and the manager could have easily scrolled through the orders to see ours and that we had the wrong receipt and still wish my friend would have brought up the missing drink but he didnt want it in the first place it just comes with the meal so if he doesnt care I shouldn't but it's still another mistake. I will avoid the place from now on when leaving or entering the lower mainland I'd rather wait for a store...
Read moreI don't leave reviews but this place was awful, the higher up staff is verry nice and some of the staff are also but let me say in my opinion I will never go back, I got A job here just for them to put me on for the wrong week and neglect to inform me until I got "A talking to" for not showing to shift thwy didn't inform me I even had then when I spoke with them to change me to work me into next week because they already did the hours without mine they just never scheduled me no call no anything, I then had A family member who actually made the schedule but soon after that family member because of A blood condition had to take two days the first day she called in sick with notice we came in the next morning to get an icecream for my young child after picking up dinner at the grocery store and the manager of all people hourse before her shift was to start comes out into the loby area behind the counter and raises her voice loud enough for everyone to hear and look over at all of us and starts yelling about everything she thinks my family member is doing wrong then continues to be the same way with me when I ask her not to be that way with them infront of everyone and my kid that resulted in her angrily walking over to the other employee and talking about how nasty she thinks we are. I am upset and disgusted at this behavior especually as A manager in the work place not to mention three times before that we ate there they either forgot items or forgot us in the order list altogether, if it wasnt for the few decent workers they have I doubt sometimes that I would have gotten my daughters happy meal at all so thank you to the good employees here but this store really does need to step up how certain management at this location portreys themselfs and the business it is...
